Pegasus Hotel

Stayed here for the first week of the season and had a really great week. I really wanted to give a 5 star rating but there were a couple of things which I believe should have been put right (or checked) even before I had arrived as I was the first person staying in my allocated studio for the beginning of the season. I will mention the things which were a let down and then follow with the positives. First, I only had electric for the first 10 minutes I was in my studio, I reported straight away and it was looked at straight away but to no avail so an electrician had to be called. It turned out to be a faulty card reader (where you put your room key fob), this was rectified after about 1 hour, which was not a massive issue as I had gone out to explore and get some essentials from the shop across the road. Secondly, the shower - went to have a shower the next morning and no water out of the overhead showerhead - again I reported and it was looked at and it turned out the shower head had to be replaced - which was done quite quicky. Thirdly - maybe a Jet2 listing error but there website says there is an iron and ironing board supplied - there was an ironing board (albeit a small one) but no iron. And lastly - again maybe a Jet2 error but website says Wi-Fi available in the rooms. There was no Wi-Fi in my room (only by the pool area). Not a massive problem as I have unlimited data and the 4g/5g signal gave really great speeds. That's the negatives out of the way, and now the positives - 1. The family - what a great bunch of people! 2. Cleanliness - everywhere clean and maid service excellent 3. Bar area and food - good selection of drinks and food 4. Location - about 10min walk to the beach and main part of Roda, small shop across the road (please aware this complex can be 45mins to 1hr from the airport) 5. Pool area - spotlessly clean and plenty of comfortable sunbeds Some tips - only 1 toilet is provided so be prepared to bring some or buy some. No washing up liquid is supplied, so again be prepared to bring or buy some. Apologies for the lengthy review! Such a lovely friendly place to stay! Close to shops , restaurants & the beach - all in walking distance The hotel ground are lush green with lots of trees and plants 🪴 free parking outside the reception Good size pool with plenty of loungers with padding & umbrellas Deep for adults & shallow side for children Rooms are clean , toiletries- tea coffee & hairdryer provided that's a lovely touch Balcony is spacious with a table & chairs Staff are always around to help , Spiros the Manager goes the extra mile to be welcoming and friendly We had a fabulous stay and to.top it off the weather was fabulous Thank you 😊

We have just returned from 2 weeks staying in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. We had a fantastic holiday at this family fun, small friendly apartment complex. Everywhere is well kept and very clean and nothing was too much trouble for George and Adonis to organise or advise on. There are lots of small touches that make it fun, an area where people leave their left over mossie spray, sun tan lotion, etc for newbies to use. A quite large library area of books to borrow/leave your own, I read about 6 that I had never heard of before. A pool table under a shade area, plenty of shady sun beds with thick comfortable mattresses with small tables for your holiday cocktails! Roda itself is flat so ideal for people like me with walking difficulties, however Greek pavements can be a bit uneven. Melinda Apartments serve a wide variety of great value food but also have many restaurants within easy walking distance, beware the serving sizes are always large. The weather for our 2 weeks was between 23 and 27 with only 1 slightly wet day but it can be more variable this late in the season, everything was open but we didn't need to book for any restaurants so perfect for people that don't like it too hot, it did mean the pool was on the brisk side, but the sea was still lovely and warm. We will certainly be returning to these lovely apartments, the owners were so friendly and helpful we felt at home and relaxed from the moment we got there. This is our second stay at The Pegasus and we have booked to go again in May 25 Lovely hotel and all staff friendly and helpful cannot fault it. Very relaxing holiday, fabulous pool area, highly recommend, already looking forward to returning ☺️

Excellent experience, stayed for 10days and the staff were exceptional. Very friendly family atmosphere, breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable, the bar was great and the pool superb. Only great things to say about all of the staff, to include the manager, restaurant staff, pool staff, receptionists and bar staff. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing, welcoming and very comfortable stay.

This is our second visit to this Hotel, its may not have a five star rating, but it does have a five star Manager, (Spyros), He's there for everyone, he makes it his business to talk to everyone and make sure they are ok and if they need anything..... The rooms are dated , our shower curtain could have done with replacing as it was full of mould, The breakfast is continental, but there is plenty of it.. The Hotel is in a good location , near shops , bars , restaurants and the beach, Matt does a great job in the mornings & Jo is great on reception... Things to remember are you have to pay Hotel tax which is around 3euro per night, and bring plenty of mosquito repellent....... Overall Brilliant staying , we will definitely be Back....
