We are loyal Comfort Inn clients, having travelled thousands of miles across the country staying exclusively at Comfort Inns. My husband is a quadriplegic and therefor needs special equipment and special support. Our first night on the road was at a Comfort Inn in Pittsburg Pennsylvania, where the staff did everything possible to assist us and our caregiver. In contrast, Comfort Suites old Springdale road did nothing to accommodate our needs and after a very long day we were met by disinterest with our challenges. The back parking lot , where wheelchair vans park, was blocked by an enormous truck, preventing my husband to access the hotel, closest to our room. The person at the desk said it was their truck and we had to use the front door. So now we had to accommodate the hotel rather than us being looked after. We had to transport a Hoyer lift, commode, luggage through the front door and down the long passage way to the end room. No apologies! The clerk stated there were other guests to look after. I didn’t quite understand her dilemma as there was not another person around. Yes quite a contrast to the Comfort Inn staff in Pittsburg to the staff at Old Springdale Road. Next I asked about food / dinner suggestions and again the answer given was abrupt and not particularly helpful. I cannot stress how disappointed I was . We are seniors, try to be independent and not bothering others but a little respect and friendliness can go a long way. We will not stay here again
