Fernhill Bed and Breakfast

Warming welcome, lovely and clean and comfortable,the room was great it had amazing views over the countryside that you could look out at even led in bed, all amenities you could ask for including a little kitchenette that all guests had access to in our block of 4 rooms , easy parking right in front of our room, highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this place. It's right in the countryside but still close to Rochdale. The room was beautiful. bed really comfy. Tea and coffee in room and complementary cookies. The set up for breakfast perfect I didn't book the breakfast myself but did have a look in the breakfast room and it was very well stocked you just help yourself. They have a little kitchenette too that you can store your own food. Perfect stay would definitely return

TA recommendations led me to this delightful B and B. It is a bit outside Rochdale and down a long narrowing drive but the reward is a place with fantastic views. Plenty of room for booking. Requested shower cubicle rather than shower over bath which the owner sorted out. Cosy room with desk, lovely bathroom and excellent soap. Biscuits wit tea in the room and excellent Wi-Fi. Breakfast is optional and self service.Continental only but wide range of bread, cereal, porridge, yoghurts, tea. Lovely view from the breakfast room. Owner explains the system of picking up your key from a box on arrival and notes you need to leave by 10.00 the following morning. All the above worked for me so positively recommend if this type of set up works for you.

Just perfect, loved everything. Stayed in the Oak Room, which was so cosy and will definately be back. Power shower was great too. Thank you, this place has everything. Didnt have breakfast but had a look in the kitchen area and could not fault the choice.

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend a friends wedding .. one of the nicest places we have stayed.. A mile up the hill from town with a very good taxi service. Set on a farm with horses and stunning views over the town, our room was lovely, enormous bed, large bathroom.. very comfortable . Separate breakfast room which was fully stocked with all you could ever want.. would absolutely recommend Fernhill and would love to return..

I am almost nervous to leave a review in case I encounter difficulties when trying to book in the future ...!Everything about this B&B is outstanding. The room was not only scrupulously clean, it is kitted out to an extremely high standard with quality in every detail.The bed was spacious and comfortable, the desk was solid and well laid out with good quality pottery for tea/coffee making and hair dryer.Solid wood wardrobes with a welcome iron/ironing board and plenty of space. The power-shower was so good I did not want leave it.The bathroom again kitted out with quality appliances.Breakfast was an equally amazing experience.From a farmhouse-style dining/kitchen, the views across to the Pennines and Rochdale were wonderful.There was a fabulous 'all you can eat' display of continental breakfast items with a wide variety of fresh pastries, bread, crumpets, cereal, porridge, etc.Whole experience was perfect.Please don't all book in though - leave room for me!
