Third time we stayed with Jeff and Cheryl at Shirley's, and this time we brought friends with us. Everyone was surprised at the spacious, clean and nicely appointed bedrooms and common space of the house. Breakfasts are filling and delicious. Cheryl even provided gluten free breakfast for one member of our party, including the always on hand cookies! We will be back again!

From the room to the great hosts this place is wonderful. Jeff and Cheryl went above and beyond and missed no small detail. Beverages and snacks and a great view to enjoy them. All of it was really relaxing and looking forward to going back again.

Shirley's Bed and Breakfast is a lovely place to stay for a quiet, relaxing retreat. Hosts Jeff and Cheryl are very kind and friendly. One can count on a delicious homemade breakfast. This was our third visit, and we look forward to future trips to Shirley's. The house and grounds are beautiful, clean, and well maintained.

We stayed in the separate cottage which is a great option if you are traveling as a family. With 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a sitting room, the cottage gave our two teens and ourselves some space to spread out. Everything was clean and the retro vibe decor was fun. The owners were friendly and made sure our stay went smoothly. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the quiet. Beautiful pool area.

We loved staying at Shirley’s!! We loved the atmosphere, the view and the owners. The room we stayed in was decorated wonderfully and we had so much room to spread out. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area again!!

What a peaceful, beautiful slice of heaven!! Very friendly, personable hosts! Breakfast was delicious and enjoyed sitting around talking with other couples! This will certainly be a yearly (if not more) destination!!

We were quite pleasantly surprised when we got to Shirley's b&b. Very nice rooms nice people and very comfortable. Plenty of deer in the yard any night. It's on a twisty two road outside of Roanoke but relatively close to restaurants Etc

Shirleys Bed and Breakfast is just wonderful. We enjoyed our second trip there this past week. Cheryl and Jeff are the best hosts. Their friendly, easygoing demeanor makes for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. They are so great about recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. The inn is quiet, clean, and beautifully decorated. We already made our reservation for next year.

We had a delightful one night stay here on a road trip to the Smoky Mountains. It's a beautiful B&B with attentive, cheerful innkeepers, and our room (Lavista Suite) was huge and very comfortable, with every amenity we could want. Unfortunately the innkeepers were not there the whole time as they left for a trip themselves, though nonetheless leaving the inn in the hands of a very capable innsitter. We would have enjoyed getting to know them better. Next time! (We will go back!)
