I booked a night at a different hotel in this location, because they were rated #1, not seeing this hotel. When we arrived and saw this hotel, we knew we would rather stay here. The lovely young lady at the desk got us registered in a king room with a sleeper sofa and it was great. New. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Just as you’d expect. Breakfast was great, as always. Would recommend. Would stay again.

Stop here every time we go down to Florida. We have always liked this hotel as it is conveniently right off Rte 95. Lots of gas stations and decent restaurant close by. The hotel has undergone a complete renovation and the results are wonderful. Bright open front desk and lobby. Enlarged breakfast room. We stayed in the king study and it was very comfortable with new furniture. They are still working on an addition that will add more rooms, but that doesn’t interfere with the hotel at all. One thing that has not changed at all is the great staff. I give each and every one 5 stars, from front desk to housekeeping to the lovely lady who keeps the breakfast room humming along each morning. They are all terrific!!!!

Hotel is under construction. Rooms are new. So how can the be so dirty? Here’s a pic of the bathroom floor after wiping up a wet spot. Ewwwwww! Why can these hotels pay their staff to clean???? Thy have prefilled bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Guess what? Two of the three bottles were empty! ***! GO SOMEWHERE WLSE!

This hotel's website offers a pristine looking Hampton Inn. We were shocked when we arrived. It looked like an old abandoned hotel... in the Ukraine. The website mentions the hotel is under reconstruction and based on past reviews it has been for sometime now.. it says a few amenities might not be available. In reality this is a gutted hotel. The pool is green from thick thick algae. The check in process is done in a hotel room as is the Free Breakfast. The room numbers are written on tape on each door. In my opinion this hotel has no business being open. It looks like it's under construction not reconstruction. Still, that didn't stop Hampton Inn from charging full price for my stay.

It wasn't a good stay at all. I checked in on 2 Nov 2024 and renovations were still on going. They still had somewhat of a breakfast, biscuit with egg and sausage, bagels with egg and sausage (had to warm up in microwave), muffins, orange juice, cranberry juice, coffee, apples, oranges, and all was a “grab bag”. The first three days I had to get my room card reconfigured. I also had checked with the front desk, at 7 a.m., if I was on the list for room cleaning service, they said I was; only to finish work and go to my room and it wasn’t cleaned. I had to go to the Front Desk to request towels. One day I did experience very low hot water pressure. I let the Front Desk know and the general man that was in charge of the renovation said that they would go to my room and check it out (he did ask permission if they could enter, I gave them the okay). I returned after work and I did have hot water again, kudos! I would suggest before booking a room here, you should call first to check if renovations are still on going.

Do NOT go to this hotel unless you pre-visit it first. I am seeing reviews that it has been under construction since last November. I am not sure how the state of Virginia even allows occupancy permits here and am sorely disappointed that the Hilton brand would even allow this type of non-refundable scam without announcing it on their website. Look at the pictures June/July 2024. I literally drove by it twice and thought no way! Do NOT believe Hiltons pictures on their website.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! Do not trust the 5 or 4 star reviews. Despite going through renovations, this place is a nightmare to sleep in. Black mold in the corners of the rooms, fire alarms that do not work and are covered with plastic bags, and showers that smell strongly of urine. There was a used razor on the floor (assuming) from a previous guest the moment we walked in. The furniture is old and worn out. The mattresses are made out of uncomfortable springs. It is obvious the walls have been previously but they did a very poor job of concealing that. I stayed in room 213 with my mom on October 3rd of 2023.

Black mold in numerous area of room. Several attempts to paint over were unsuccessful. Under construction yet to add on to facility. Should work on upgrading rooms. Staff was not concerned and offered no help to get us rebooked to another facility.

This hotel is very outdated but appears they are updating. It is in serious need of it and for the price of hotels in same area I would have chosen another . Should be a decent discount due to the appearance and smell of the rooms not Close to Hilton standards . The staff was EXTREMELY excellent friendly and courteous.
