The travel lodge was very clean the shower was very powerful
The amenities were limited as we had to go out for food we could have had a cereal breakfast but didn't fancy that

Very basic facilities. WiFi free for 30 mins only then payment required but the speed was so slow it wasn’t worth paying for. The room was clean but sparsely furnished. This really was a very basic room. The hotel itself has a disused eating facility in the car park area so looks sad and rundown. I would pay a bit more for a more pleasant environment in the future.

We have just returned from a short break in North Yorkshire. We stayed at the Travelodge A1 at Skeedby. This is our favourite place to stay when we visit the area. The Travelodge is set back away from the A1. It is not located on the A1 but on an adjacent road. The rooms are always clean and tidy and excellent value. The staff are very welcoming and always willing to help. The location is excellent for visiting Richmond and other areas . Catterick Garrison shopping area is a 10 minute drive away. There’s a Tesco superstore. A couple of pubs for food and quite a few fast food outlets. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at Skeedby rather than staying at the other Travelodge at the nearby A1 service area. We’ll definitely be returning.

Staff were very helpful, car park was spacious, the rooms were very clean and the beds were good. Slept well,the room was warm and the shower was excellent, no hassle on leaving just place the key in the box. Arrived and enjoyed the stay. I would recommend this travelodge.

Quiet room. Property easily accessible from A1. Receptionist (Fijian) was most welcoming and helpful. Clean room. “No. 1 😁” Easily accessible for me as a pensioner with heavy baggage. Have stayed here before many times and have never had any issues; a better location than the hustle and bustle of Scotch Corner Services

This was a last minute emergency stop after being snowed in. Very clean room with comfy bed. Bathroom a bit dated but functional. Lady at reception was so helpful and welcoming. She couldn’t have done more to help. Perfectly situated at the services for our immediate need.
