A great time celebrating my 5th wedding anniversary with my husband was had at Gecko Inn Guesthouse. We booked telephonically and was assisted by the very friendly and helpful Nonhle who made our booking process simple. We booked a luxury room that boasted incredible amenities, (well the whole place offers amazing amenities including a full-on gym) an extremely comfy bed with a massive jacuzzi bath in the middle of the room which was certainly different and added that extra glam factor. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by reception staff and advised us of all services offered and made us feel at home. We enjoyed drinks and food at the restaurant/ bar (aside from paying R110 for 1 x Ice Tropez) which I could have got 4 x Brutal Fruits should the bar lady had mentioned that to me but was on a special trip so went with the flow and enjoyed every sip of it , further where a game of pool was enjoyed but the pool area/bar got extremely busy at one stage and struggled to find an inside table which is apparently the normal Friday afternoon bustle as it is the gathering hole for most of RB, but the lovely Zanele certainly made a plan for us being guests staying at the guesthouse itself. She informed us of the lovely meals to enjoy and opted for their divine steak special of which I have honestly never has such a juicy and soft cut, as well as cooked to perfection, my mouth literally watered as I cut into it (with not much effort) which was paired with a zingy divine pepper cream sauce and the crispiest chips too. Her smile and wonderful service certainly added to the enjoyment of the vibe which was warm and ambient with cool and modern decor. I will definitely be back for more. 10/10.

I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Richardsbay besides Gecko inn. Their service and Cleanliness and the whole set up of the Inn was very delightful. security was great and the Food was very reasonably priced as well as delicious.

From the reception to the check out, I had a lovely experience. Compliments to your chef, the spinach absolutely divine, will most definitely visit your property again.

The food was delicious and the service friendly. Every year when we go there, we are always so impressed with the quality of the accommodation and the whole venue. We absolutely love the new outside entertainment area. We always leave the Gecko Inn with great memories.
