Descripción del alojamiento
Casté is a small medieval village from the 1400s situated on the edge of the Parco delle Casté is a small medieval village from the 1400s situated on the edge of the Cinque Terre Park and a short distance from the sea and La Spezia (7 km).
The Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Coniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso) are easily reachable from La Spezia by train, by sea by ferry and, for trekking lovers, on foot with path 01 which passes by Casté.
The house has been completely renovated a few years ago, while trying to preserve its origin as much as possible. The interior furnishings are modern and functional to make the most of the spaces. The terrace overlooks the characteristic square of the town where a small church is located.
The house is equipped with a television and an outdoor terrace with lighting.
Maps and timetables for trains and boats are available to guests, and I will be available for any type of information you need.
La Spezia is one of the main Italian ports and the second Ligurian city. It overlooks the splendid Golfo dei Poeti and boasts a magnificent panorama going up the surrounding hill (Litoranea or Marinasco, among the main observation points).
From La Spezia you can easily reach all the most beautiful places of the eastern Liguria by car or by boat: Lerici, Tellaro, San Terenzo, Fiascherino, Portovenere and the island of Palmaria.
Portovenere, a medieval maritime village characterized by colorful houses overlooking the Palmaria island and dominated by the splendid church of San Pietro overlooking the sea. Many poets and writers fell in love with this village, in particular Shelly, to whom a cave is located behind the strait.
Lerici, on the opposite side of the Gulf, offers a wonderful scenery, also celebrated by the most famous poets and writers, for the colors of the sea and the imposing castle.
FIVE LANDS:
Monterosso, with its promenade and the beach (the only one in the Cinque Terre) is better suited to host worldliness and nightlife. The carruggi of the old town are very beautiful and suggestive, with larger spaces and a few cars in Fegina and along the sea.
Vernazza has been the center of greatest attraction for several years, the glance is undoubtedly the most spectacular both coming by sea and by paths. The square near the marina is characteristic.
Coniglia, a pleasant and peaceful place, slightly more inconvenient to reach the sea due to its elevated position, on the other hand it enjoys unique and spectacular views.
Manarola is undoubtedly the quietest of the five lands. Very pleasant are the many short walks that revolve around the country, relaxing and undemanding: affordable for everyone. The Way of Love that connects Manarola with Riomaggiore is certainly the best known.
Riomaggiore, home of the Cinque Terre National Park, and just 5 minutes by train from La Spezia is characterized by a recent building expansion in the upper part, while the old part retains its charm and its beauties. The carruggi that go from the central street and the marina into the heart of the town are among the most characteristic.
Very beautiful is the view of the marina, surrounded by tall tower houses and impregnable for the pirates who frequented the Ligurian coasts. Great view from the castle.
Nearby I point out:
the splendid Portofino, in the Gulf of Tigullio (between the Cinque Terre and Genoa) famous for its Bay and the premises on the main square and near Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo.
Genoa, an ancient maritime city, today modernized above all in the area of the Port and the aquarium (not to be missed for families with children) and an important trade fair complex.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Adults only.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About events:No events allowed.
