We had originally booked at Hotel Embassy, a different hotel under the same management. A few hours before arrival, we were contacted because Embassy was overbooked and Little Hotel was presented as an upgrade. It wasn't. While it is undeniable that Little Hotel is a seafront hotel with sea views, it's also in a very traffic-heavy part of Riccione, quite a walk from the city center. The young staff members are doing their best to keep the hotel afloat, but the hotel is showing its age. For example, the AC in the room was laughable, clearly struggling with Italian summer temperatures. Furthermore, our room was next to the elevator and had almost no storage facilities. After a hot, loud and very bad night, we moved to a different hotel the next morning. We still had a coffee before leaving, but the breakfast area was partly flooded with water about to hit the electrical outlets and the young staff scrambling to hide or fix the problem - a scene that cemented our belief that Little Hotel has quite a few issues and wasn't for us. We were very happy to leave the hotel behind us and we enjoyed the rest of our holiday in a different hotel. Unfortunately, Little Hotel still decided to charge us for the night, even though it was a horrible night we didn't want or had booked. Very disappointing. Over the last 20 years, I've stayed at 6 different hotels in Riccione and this is by far the worst I've experienced. Would not recommend.
