Pefkos Village Resort

Absolutely loved our stay at the PVR. The rooms were bright, clean and modern, with everything you need in the kitchenette, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were exceptional, from the receptionist when we arrived to all the bar, buffet and kitchen staff. Our cleaner was fantastic and a lovely person. All very genuine people, superior customer service. The place itself has a beautiful clean pool in gorgeous surroundings, with huge palm streets that are very striking. Lovely bar and seating areas to have drinks or a meal, in a great tranquil atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was top notch with everything you can think of from freshly cooked eggs eg., fried scramble and really nice omelettes with filling of your choice., there was bacon beans and mushrooms, a large selection of continental items (different everyday) and fresh bread to toast, plenty of beverages, including orange juice you could squeeze yourself, other fruit juices and tea and coffee. The egg chef was a lovely friendly man and a pleasure to meet. The place itself is a bit out of the way and there is a slight incline on the way out until you get on the main road at the top, but we’ll worth putting up with. We walked down to the village at night and got a taxi back, but there are a few restaurants nearby and of course the hotel restaurant itself if you do not feel like venturing out. Lovely and quiet at night so very relaxing stay. Well recommended, we will be back

We stayed here for a few nights in September and really enjoyed it. We arrived late but were warmly welcomed and able to get a drink before heading to bed which was needed. I enjoyed the breakfast here. Admittedly we had the same thing each morning - the omelettes. They were freshly made to order, generous fillings and tasted amazing. We also had food at the hotel one lunch and one evening and the food was brilliant each and every time. Staff were friendly throughout the hotel and we were able to park for free without issues finding a space. The hotel was a bit of walk into town - probably looking about 20 minutes or so, and a bit of a hilly walk too which was fine for us but might not be everyone's cup of tea. Thanks for a lovely stay

Well we're do i start arrived 14th September At this fantastic hotel from stepping off the bus and arriving at reception to be greeted by wonderful staff who were very helpful checking us in we had a one bedroom apartment with view of the pool and surrounding hills also sea this was a end apartment with a large balcony which had sun all day breakfast on a morning was wonderful with plentiful choice you even had a cook who cooked you wonderful omelette and eggs of your choice The chef was also a credit who made wonderful burgers during the day and chips and pizza they were huge portions We had evening meals at the hotel twice which were absolutely beautiful I had steak which was done to perfection we ate in pefkos but to be honest I wish I'd have gone half board When we came back from pefkos on a evening we had a wonderful barman dimitris who greeted us with a smile also his partner Eva who are really hard working and a credit to this hotel we spent the rest of the night having a laugh with both these wonderful people when we left it was sad time because of all the wonderful staff that work here we will be definitely be back Vassilis is also a wonderful manger always has time to talk to you and give you advice were to eat and go but the best part of the holiday was my good friend dimitris and Eva they Will be missed till we meet again hopefully next if anyone reads this on trip advisor book this hotel you will not be disappointed five star ratings

This is our third visit to the Pefkos Village Resort and our ninth visit to Pefkos so we know the area well. In the past we have also stayed in the Matina which is part of this hotel group and is a good choice if you want the stay in the resort centre but if your idea is for a relaxing holiday in a laid back environment the Village is a great choice. Although it is approximately a fifteen minute walk, to us that is part of the attraction. The hotel itself is not too big and has a choice of studios and one and two bedroom apartments. In the past we have stayed in studios which are of a decent size with everything you need for self catering but this year as we were late booking we could only get a one bedroom for four people, room 216, which was excellent and caught the evening sun. However, what makes this hotel for us is the staff. In the kitchen there are Nektaria, Manolis and Mariana who kept us fed at breakfast and who produced evening meals of such a high quality that on our return we will be definitely booking half board. In the bar there is Kostas, Dimiris and Eva who always greeted their customers with an enthusiasm that was very welcoming and regardless how busy they were they would always find time for a chat. Our room was kept clean by the hard working Blerina who always greeted us with a smile and the odd word of English which was far better than my poor Greek. The hotel is managed by Vasilis who is not your typical hotel manager as he is not frightened to do everything from helping to serve breakfast to working the bar and seems to work from morning to night, he says that there is plenty of time to rest when the season is over. Finally, there is Andela who is much more than a receptionist and as the first person you meet she sets the tone for your stay and immediately you know you have made a good choice. Nothing is any problem to her and regardless of your accent, we’re Scottish, her communication skills are excellent. Would we return to the Pefkos Village Resort, definitely as we intend to book this week.

Wow. I'm still here now, but I wanted to say how impressed we are with this lovely aparthotel. Small and relaxing, it's on the outskirts of Pefkos but a manageable walk to town. Slight hill up to the main road, but I'm not great on my feet and managed perfectly well. About 20 mins walk to town, but you pass a number of bars/restaurants on the way. There is no need to go out to eat, though, if you don't want to walk. The restaurant at the aparthotel is amazing. We had breakfast included and I have never seen so much choice, delicious too. Lunch is plentiful and great prices. For 4.5 euros you can have a mound of chips with cheese and bacon that would easily feed 2. In the evenings, the menu is good, portions enormous and quality amazing. Prices are the same as the ones in town. Staff are polite, Friendly and easy to banter with. The apartments are clean, well equipped by greek standards and plenty big enough (we had a 1 bed apartment for 3 adults). The nearest beach is about 10 min stroll, it's a lovely quiet beach with a few sunbeds and a taverna at the top of the hill (25m ish). There is a 'non organised' beach closer but its really just access to the sea via some rock's, ok for a morning swim though. Back at the hotel, the pool is clean, fairly shallow and has plenty of sunbeds. I can see why people return year after year, mainly due to its wonderful staff, great food and comfortable apartments.

what can I say this place is wonderful, peaceful ,clean, friendly, lovely food and well priced drinks, we've been going to Pefkos for over 15 years and this was the best stay for all the reasons above. As with other reviews this is just the perfect Hotel. Ava and Dimitris are wonderful and a credit to the hotel along with the night porter Danny and in fact all the staff plus the owner. Will be returning next year and can't wait, have a well deserved winter break all of you. x
