Hippocampus Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place is new, clean, and well-organized. George at the reception welcomed us warmly and explained everything we needed to know with a friendly attitude. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent, and the service was exceptional. The rooms looked exactly like the pictures – no surprises, just as expected.

George the Manager was so nice. If we are coming to Rhodes, it’s 100% back here. The food in the Hotel’s Restaurant is great, and the Room is Perfect.

Great accommodation, really nice manager and staff. You can get a discount im the restaurant and the bus station to the city is a 5 min walk away. Highly recommended!!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. George at the reception was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made check-in smooth and pleasant. The staff and reception at the hotel were extremely friendly from the very beginning. The hotel manager, George, personally showed us around the hotel and was very kind and helpful. The entire hotel feels very luxurious, clean, and spacious. It has an excellent location — you can walk to the beach in just 2 minutes. I give it a 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend it.

arrived late thursday night checked in to our room and went down stairs to the bar for a drink .empty bar and ordered a draught beer ,they dont do draught only bottles which i had a 330ml stellar .which our expensive at 7 euros .breakfast was typical greek buffet style with streaky bacon ,eggs like in a quice style ,no fried, beans in a jar .cold .but plenty of fresh fruit,orange juice.what i found was the table with all the breakfast on was simply too crowded, no space at all to gather your food coffee urn was next to the toaster and a jug of hot water for tea which was behind the toaster so awkward and dangerous as you had to fill your cup up there .room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the main road which can be very busy like the m25 most days room cleaned everyday .there is a crossing outside but you have to be brave enough to try and cross as cars just dont stop.we never had dinner in there as theres a fab restaurant a few doors away .every night the hotel was not busy in the restaurant .so quiet,except for 2 night were they had a duo on and another night a pianist .but it was quiet ..the buses run every 30 mins into rhodes from the bus stop a few hundred metres down the road.you need to pick your times as sometimes they our full and just go past the stop .its very quiet the village of a night time ,not much to do .theres another bar a few hundred metres down the rd called phillips bar which is quite lively .overall a nice hotel there is a charge. for air con at 7 euros a night and a hotel tax of 5 euros a night to add .
