Delfinia Resort - All Inclusive

If you have booked this hotel, I hope you have good luck. If not, don't book it, it's better to pay more for a good experience than pay less for a bad one. The 4 star review don't live up to the standard. The water is cold, including the pool and shower. The public toilets near the pool and bar aren't clean, and our room was falling apart. We aren't sure about other rooms, but ours was low-quality, especially the toilets. The bathtub edges were peeling, there's no hot showers and as a whole very outdated and old. The food was cold and always the same, with limited options. The hotel sells an idea that there is different food styles for each night, but there is one new dish if you are lucky.

Arrived late evening and made to wait over 1 hour in disorganised queue for check in at the main hotel reception desk. No information was given (about meals or facilities) and the receptionist just asked ‘cash or card’ and pointed to a sign stating an environmental charge of 10 euros per room per night. Bar closed at 11pm every night and no entertainment provided except for a music quiz that looked like has been created on chatgpt. Also one of the main pools was empty and fenced off. Only issued with 1 x room card for our group of 3 and was told by reception staff and duty manager that it is hotel policy to issue only 1 card per room and no more ! Also no kettle provided in the room but managed to get one after asking multiple times at reception then chasing down the manager. Visited local area and most shops are closed and look like they are unlikely to ever open again ! Not a 4 star hotel and would suggest that staff need customer service skills.

The beds were uncomfortable,very small rooms, the animation team don’t seem to have a clue what they are doing the only good one out of them is Sara teaching herself the dances and teaching the children,interacting with adults and children, the food is edible always find something to eat,only one life guard so when he needs to go to the toilet or go for food he asks the public to cover him and eats his lunch by the pool as there is no-one to cover him, poor location

A 2 star hotel! About Our Very Bad Holiday at Delfinia Hotel, Kolymbia - April 12 to April 22, 2025 - Room 309 Our room was dirty when we arrived. There were marks on the walls, and we saw ants everywhere in the room The bed's mattress was dirty, which was really unpleasant. Also, the bed was broken, so it was hard to sleep well. The room was not cleaned properly during our ten nights. The water for our showers was always cold, only about 30 degrees. This made showering very uncomfortable. The food at the hotel was not good. There wasn't much choice, and it didn't taste very nice. The coffee was just instant, and the drinks were cheap local ones with no alcohol We only had oranges, pears, and apples as fruit. We also had problems with towels. We didn't get any for the beach. The towels in our room were different shades of white to yellow so we weren't sure if they were clean. The furniture in our room was old and broken, which made the room look and feel worse. Some of the staff were also rude to us. One of the biggest problems was the toilet in our room. It leaked water onto the floor every time we used it. We had to use towels to soak up the water for our whole holiday. This was really not acceptable. Our stay at the Delfinia Hotel was very disappointing and spoiled our holiday. The dirty room, broken bed, cold showers, bad food, towel problems, rude staff, and leaking toilet made it a terrible experience in room 309.

We stayed in the Villas across the road with were ideal for us as we travelled as a larger extended family. It created a lovely balance of privacy but with the bonus facilities of All Inclusive. A few early season teething problems but nothing that the lovely ladies on reception couldn't solve or help with. The villa was lovely with private pool and comfortable sun loungers which was a lovely touch. Food was tasty and enough choice, loved the microwave as we like our food very hot. Overall good value for money.

Entertainment team were amazing and the pool bar staff were so nice and friendly all did a really good job to help us enjoy the holiday and also cleaning staff lovely ladies room was clean. The food is not good bad and had to avoid the meat as trying the first day chicken and fish and burger ok raw in the middle not cooked properly.
