I'm 50 years old and have never had to do a bad review, ever, but I will start with the positives first as it's not All BAD If you want a relaxing and quiet holiday away from the hustle and bustle this is the place to go. No getting up early to reserve sunbeds, as most people who stay her are down the beach doing kite surfing etc so the pool area is pretty much empty. The hotel is pituresque and the staff are amazing and work very hard. Its a family run place with no frills. All inclusive isn't buffet style it's a set menu everyday. This should be stated in the hotel itinerary but it isnt. It's traditional Greek food(ish) but the food is just put infront of you usually 4/5 courses, and alot of the food wasn't to my liking. Ide had preffered being asked what courses I wanted, I hate waste. Because of a stomach/bowel condition I can't eat oily food and have a few intolerances, which I gave info on with a form I filled out on arrival. I fear this was just filed away as the foods I listed i couldnt eat were served up to me on a daily basis. I found most meals very oily and whilst I realise that's OK for some people, it wasn't for me. I skipped most meals after the 2nd day and bought food from the local shop.instead. Snacks aren't on hand in-between meals, they are feon 4pm to 5pm and by order, there is no help yourself. There's no kettle in the room to make tea or coffee which is very unusual. Secondly we knew about the Greek tax which we had cash to pay for but on arrival at 11pm in temperatures of 32 plus, we were informed that air con wasn't included in the price and was an additional 8 euros per day. Whilst I know this isn't a great amount of money, it wasn't put to us on our booking so we were a tad annoyed, we will be taking this up with our tour operator. All the holiday makers we spoke to said exactly the same thing. They thought all the rooms were air conditioned and it was in the price of their booking. It's not a place for children as it has no entertainment, doesn't have a menu suitable for children, and kids would get very bored here. I had a nice relaxing break and i cant fault my holiday persay but came home very hungry after my week's stay and the final bill for the tax and air con was over 80 euros, which wasn't accounted for. Even if the air con is seasonal, I think once the temperature gets into the 30s it should be free, us brits just aren't used to that type of heat. There was no breeze even though you are close to the sea and because of flowers surrounding the hotel you get bitten to shreds in the evening so take lots of repellant with you. There is no curteousy room to shower in if you have a late flight which is very unusual. I asked to pay for a room for the 9 hours I had after checkout and was informed there wasn't one available so had to leave with just a was from the sink in the downstairs toilet. I wasn't happy with this. I did go away for a nice peaceful break and I got that but came home famished, so wouldn't
