We returned to this hotel after six years because we remembered its great location on the beach in a quiet part of Kolymbia. The sea here is crystal clear, but it goes quite fast to the depths, so in my opinion it is not suitable for families with small children who can't swim yet. We, on the other hand, welcomed it. The hotel has a new owner and a new name and has improved greatly in the quality of food, drinks and staff. Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room are very varied and we appreciated the wide range of vegetables and fruit on offer. Dinner in the à la carte restaurant was a special delight. Unfortunately we had a room that has not been renovated yet, but we saw how the renovated rooms look like and we hope that during the winter they will be able to improve the other rooms and then everything will be really perfect. We plan on coming back.

The Room was nice, we had the room with seaview and it did not disappoint. All inclusive breakfeast and lunch were really good! The dinner was nice too but looked quite like the lunch. The receptionist and bartenders are very kind and are always there to help! We would definitely recommend to stay here :)

The hotel has really nice food. Hotel rooms were good too. The hotel crew is really friendly and the fitness coach is the best.

We visited the hotel this week ,everything was very good , friendly staff (especially tsampikos at the a la carte restaurant and the team in the reception) Hotel location was very nice with an amazing beach in front! Thank you We will be back !

If you are expecting a 4 star hotel you will be disappointed, especially for the price you pay… and avoid if you have allergies, they don’t care. This is based on a 7 night stay. Staff - overall the staff are welcoming, friendly and professional, however there are a few stand out issues here. Firstly, our waiter in pithos “a la carte” was very rude and dismissive when we asked for extra bread and since that continued to be rude and condescending. Theodore the manager, while a nice man, has no skills in dealing with issues and his idea of solving a problem was sending a drink to our room that we could have gotten from the bar in the all inclusive for free?? The cleaning staff, again did a good job, however completely disregarded the do not disturb button even after me clarifying with them multiple times during our stay. They walked in on us almost every day. There are also two members of staff (lady with bright green vest and man with curly hair, glasses and sleeve tattoo) who were very clearly having “adult fun” in the kids club, multiple times, which was very clear to lots of guests watching on the balcony. Maybe find somewhere more appropriate than the kids club? Facilities - We were in a renovated room, which while clean, has clearly been renovated on a budget and areas look like they have been patched over with their eyes closed! If this is the renovated room then I feel sorry for those in the old style rooms. There is a very clearly issue here with the sunbeds as they are all taken by 9am. When on a relaxing holiday, you do not want to be rushing to the beach in the morning just so you don’t have to lie down on the stoney beach. The manager mentioned he has ordered more, but that does not solve my experience, one which a lot of others seem to share. The shared toilets are a complete state, horrible and smelly, this area is very dated and tired. The main lobby and main buffet restaurant are finished to a good standard but are completely let down by the rest. Drinks - the biggest issue with the drinks is the lack of availability throughout the day. There is 1 bar open from 10:30am-5pm which for a busy, full hotel, means that queues were back round the corner into the restaurant at points. When you are trying to stay out of the sun, it makes it impossible having to queue in full heat. A suggestion here would be to open the top bar at 10:30am which would reduce your queues and waiting times. The plastic cups they give you are dirty, I had many with lipstick stains on which had not been cleaned properly. the cocktails are what you would expect, some good options here. There was a very distinct difference between drinks depending on which person made them, fyi Nikos makes them properly. Some of the staff working on the bar had no idea how to make some of the cocktails, maybe they need some training? The beer is also good, it is “vap” beer which we did enjoy. We had never been to Rhodes before and booked this hotel 3 weeks before we went. What can we say…. The hotel was about 30 minutes from the airport. The taxi was waiting for us and the journey was an easy one. This hotel had half of it refurbished during the winter months and will have further improvement this winter. We had one of the refurbished rooms and were very happy with it. Bright and spacious, air conditioned and towels and bathroom cleaned everyday. You could requested your room cleaned every day, but that would include fresh sheet which we didn’t think was necessary every day. The cleaning staff were always very pleasant and helpful. The food was varied and catered for everyone’s needs. The restaurant staff were so friendly and Theo, the restaurant manager more than helpful and you could see he had a great team working for him. They were all busy, but not too busy to be welcoming. Well done and thank you for that. The reception team were amazing, led by their manager Vula. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Every morning we would be greeted with a wave and a cheerful “Kaliméra” and were beyond helpful and friendly. The pool sun beds were very comfortable and we understand that much of the pool area will be improved during the winter months. We loved the beach though and the sea was beautifully clear, with a stone/sandy beach. The sun beds didn’t feel too cramped and was just a brief walk away, down some stairs from the pool area. So all in all, this was the perfect, relaxing holiday that we hoped it would be. All the staff were so amazing and friendly that this made our holiday even more special. A massive thank you to you all. With the continued and promised refurbishments on this hotel, it will definitely be the one you’ll want to book every year.
