SunShine Hotel

It isn’t a fancy hotel but rooms are modern and clean, tastefully decorated with comfy beds and a decent sized balcony. Nice pool and sunbeds always available. I stayed in a room at the back on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet. Decent storage in room and has a mini fridge and good aircon. Only downside was breakfast. Take your own coffee and teabags and perhaps muesli/cereal. Manager Christina was very helpful in providing local info. The family restaurant next door also does great cocktails!! Bus stop right outside and buses are regular and run til late. Lardos is quite small with a handful of nice restaurants and the (pebble) beach is only a 3 min walk from hotel. Lindos is only a 20min bus ride and there’s a travel shop 2 mins walk from hotel to arrange trips around the island. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe both at the hotel and in the local area. Locals are very friendly. I would def recommend this place if you want a chilled, laid back break. One of the best holidays I’ve had in a long time.

My second visit this year. Fabulous small hotel. Lovely quiet pool area, no sun bed wars here. The family and staff who run Sunshine and Popis Restaurant (food is fantastic) are all amazing. The beds are very comfy, the air con works, there is a smart TV, which we never turned on. We will be back.

the hotel is very nice and relax it have a Familien claim and near from beach and clean the breakfast is okey egg youghrr chees milk cornfliy orangejuse .. swimmingpool is clean but small just 150 cm it is near from bus station too the rooms are nice have tv fridge and big balkoon

Stayed in june 2024 knowing it was a 2 star hotel but OMG we were shocked this hotel deserves so much more higher rating, the staff, the food ( lunchtime pizzas ) were amazing Poppy made my other half the best greek coffee he had ever had, we have booked to go back next June and can not wait

We were blown away by the standard of this hotel, we have stayed in many 2 star hotels on various Greek islands and this outshines many 3 stars. Christina is lovely and super accommodating - the family at the bar attached to the hotel are fabulous - especially popi who tried to convince me she was 21 after I convinced her I was 28 😚 Georgia is also lovely but likes too many pina colada 🤣 - I hope we get to visit again soon 😍

This is the second time we have stayed at Sunshine our first visit being around five years ago. And as we expected it was just as nice as the first visit. We don't really understand the previous review saying that the food is bad because it isn't. The breakfast is a basic breakfast which is exactly as advertised, there is however a cooked option on their menu if you want this. The lunch snacks are lovely, we enjoyed several lunches here. As for the evening menu the food is exceptional it is a limited menu but the quality was superb & beautifully presented. Standards are high considering that this property is rated a two star,it's exceptionally clean & well maintained. Everyone at the hotel from the cleaners to the family is welcoming friendly hardworking & helpful. Poppi & her husband, Steve who makes great cocktails (loved the greek mojito) Alex & Georgia & Kristoph in the restaurant, the very talented Chef! And must mention Kristina full of fun & enthusiasm. It was lovely to see you all.
