Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Rhinelander

The motel staff was great. The facilities were great. I am looking forward to my next trip. The breakfast was pretty good. The view of the Wisconsin River was wonderful. It was close to town which made it easy to get around. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Peggy was AMAZING. So friendly and helpful. We had a late check in and she did whatever she could to help us get to our room. She was kind enough to check on our stay thru the weekend. Don’t lose her! Beautiful and clean hotel. All the staff were so nice. Everyone said hello and greeted you.

The place and staff were great. Will be back. Hotel made special arrangements to handle the softball players for an early breakfast. Only thing the floors are nosey if people on the upper floors are running around. Construction The end !!!!!!

Nice new place. Great staff, however I booked a king room and asked for four (4) extra pillows because my wife has a bad back. Upon check in I found out that they had decided to accommodate the extra pillow request by switching my room to a double queen. In 20+ years of asking numerous hotels for extra pillows, I have never experienced a room change before, which was disappointing.

What I liked best about the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites in Rhinelander was the main entry, I stopped in my tracks to look at the wonderful black and white logging pictures. I looked for predecessors from our family back in the early 1900's; now that was extremely hard work. It was a breeze getting checked in by the manager. It is a beautiful building and the room was clean and modern. The main challenges was falling asleep due to hearing people from the room next door (due to the "thin walls" so to speak), I could clearly hear every word and they were not speaking loudly. I managed to use an app on my phone that lulled me to sleep. I will return again when I travel to visit with family! Thank you kindly, K. Loka

What a welcome addition to the Rhinelander hotels! We were delighted to find the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites was open for our Christmas holiday trek to visit our family in Wisconsin. In our many trips back, we have stayed at all of the other hotels multiple times with very mixed results, some horrendous, some average. After looking at the website and photos of the rooms, we were excited to find it would be open. Since we were staying 4 nights, we decided to splurge and get the single king extended stay suite, which has a kitchen and separate bedroom. While it costs a little more than we normally pay for a suite at one of the other hotels, it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely spotless lobby, welcoming desk agent, and a seamless check-in. There were very few guests as they had just opened one or two weeks prior to our arrival. We took the elevator up to our room and entered. To the right is a kitchen(ette) with a 3-burner glass cooktop, microwave, small sink and full-sized fridge. There were cabinets on top and bottom with all the dishes, cookware and bowls you could possibly need. The bathroom was to the left, fairly typical with a long marble vanity, toilet and bath/shower. The water pressure was amazing! The living room had a table with two chairs, a sofa for two, chair, cabinet for clothes and a large flat screen TV. There was a huge set of windows that let in massive amounts of light. In the bedroom was a very comfy queen-sized bed where they offer you two kinds of pillows, soft and more firm, racks to hang clothes, large flat screen TV, and again a huge window to let in a lot of light. Everything in the room was immaculately clean and well put together. Granted, we were probably the first people to stay in the room, so I do hope they keep up the great work and maintain the rooms. They offer a hot breakfast in the morning, but we had family events each day and didn’t check it out. There is an indoor pool and while not huge, it looked really nice. There is a restaurant next door (a 2-minute walk), that serves an excellent breakfast and lunch where we had a few family meals. Overall, I cannot say enough nice things about this Cobblestone Hotel & Suites. The staff greeted us every day, asked what they could do for us, which gave such a positive atmosphere. There is no question we will book this over and over again. If I could give this hotel more than a 5 "star" rating, I would.
