DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, EVER stay here. The place is a disgrace, hostels are better! There is no food, no drinks, no service of any kind. The rooms are disgraceful, duvet cover was torn the bathrooms are disgraceful, shower curtain had holes in it, there was mould in the grouting, no bath mats, stick on fablon around the sink unit. The TVs have no signal, so if you can’t sign in to Netflix, you can’t watch anything. Our outlook was a skip, there was a torn chair outside on the ‘terrace’. There was rubbish in the car park, brambles and stinging nettles in what was once a garden. The carpet was heavily stained, the bath sealant had been pushed in with someone’s fingers. There were stains on the walls, nails sticking out of the walls. The painting was terrible, fittings painted over. This hotel used to be fabulous, it is now owned by OYO, the owner of which is an Indian billionaire, clearly he doesn’t spend any money on his hotels. This place should be shut down. Please avoid at any cost.

Possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Arrived late as we flew back into Gatwick and the location was good. Had we not of had a long flight back and it being so late we would not have stayed here. Mold in the room and bathroom, dust all over the furniture, bed sheet dirty (used a blanket in the car) TV did not work. Dirt all over the doors, fixtures & fittings Highly recommend avoiding this place.

I decided to give this hotel a try and found it overall not as bad as some people make it out to be. There are some plus points and several minus points. On the plus side, it's just off the highway and in its own private area. Carpeting seems to have been laid relatively recently. For those who have complained about the bar and restaurant not being open, these seem to be open again. I saw a couple of guests having drinks in the bar area. The room I got on the 2nd visit was spacious and had a little patio area. The restaurant is open currently serving an all-you-can-eat buffet. I had a look at it and was half expecting to see a nice choice of Indian food, but in fact the food seemed to be Romanian or Bulgarian, which surprised me quite a bit. In any case the hotel is only about 1 mile from the town centre where there are lots of good restaurants. On the minus side, the grouting (the white sealant around the shower) in the bathroom was done poorly one by someone who had no idea what they were doing. This kind of thing gives the impression of a hotel that is not being run properly. The family running the place seems to live on site and sometimes can be seen lounging around in the hotel lounge. Personally I prefer not to have to mingle with the people running the place. At the back in the parking of the hotel extension, all of the rubbish bins are overflowing. Wouldn't it be easy enough to empty them? Unless they are saving money by not having a skip service? I also noticed, that the UHT milk packets had just passed their 'use by' date. These various 'minus' points give the impression of not being properly run. My advice to the management would be to start paying attention to the feedback and try to improve those areas that people have consistently complained about.

When I arrived I waited 5 minutes to check in after the staff looked at me, I understand they could have been busy but could have just said so, when I checked in I was given a scrap bit of paper with a room number and a door code, when I arrived to my room the first thing that I noticed was a strong smell of cigarette smoke so I decided see if the window was open too see if it was coming in from outside it was closed, I went into the bathroom to find the floor had been water damaged this caused it to be very bouncy like the floor boards were rotten, I found a smear of what I believe was poo on the sink next to the toilet, the AC was broken resulting in the room being very hot. I called who I booked the hotel through Agoda who didn't provide any help and reception were not any help as they said there was no management during the evening, I couldn't stay in the room so had to leave, Agoda nor the hotel provided any refunds.

Do not book this hotel, we arrived after a 2 hour drive for a family party 10 mins down the road. When we arrived there was no one at reception so had to call a mobile number to find someone, we were given a code for the room which we thought was strange why not just have keys, once we opened the door the key pad kept beeping and wouldnt stop. we called the lady from reception to help and she had no clue what she was doing. The room was dirty, smelly and covered in mould, not good for a family with asthmatics. The kids didn't feel safe and we just wanted to leave, if we didn't have to get to a family gathering we would have left straight away. Walls paper thin so no sleep at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

After reading many of the negative reviews I decided to give this hotel a try and was surprised to find it is not as bad as some people make it out to be. On the plus side, it's in a very nice setting, just off the highway and in its own private area with views over the Surrey countryside. Carpeting seems to have been laid relatively recently, giving the hotel a of a fresher feel. A number of people complained about there being no bar or restaurant. However these seem to now be open again. On the neutral or minus side, my room, a single had a view of some outside air ducts, although, off in the distance I could see the view view, if I stood on my toes a bit. This didn't matter too much as I was only there for one night. It was a bit of a maze getting to the room. I don't really regard this as a minus, it just adds to the quirkiness of the place. At the moment the hotel is featuring a buffet option in the evening for £16.95. I was hoping it would be an Indian buffet. It seems to be mostly Romanian food, with containers full of mysterious central European cuisine like stews and sausages. It looked suitable a hungry workman. Not sure if they are doing a regular menu alongside this. I thought for the same price I'd rather just go into town (about 1.5 miles) where there is a large selection of eating places. I think the hotel would be best to just stick to doing a regular limited menu. Also, no idea if they are offering breakfast at the moment. On the minus side, the grouting (the white sealant around the shower) in the bathroom looks like it was done by someone who had no idea what they were doing. Just smeared on without proper tools. It looks ridiculous. It gives the impression of a hotel that is not being run properly. I get the impression the family running the place lives on site and you see them frequently in the lounge/bar area or sitting outside. I saw who I thought was the grandma allowing the small child to walk along the bar. This kind of thing doesn't give a great impression. It makes it feel like you are in some family run hotel in a foreign country. Also, at the back in the parking of the hotel extension, all of the rubbish bins are overflowing. How could they not notice this? I also noticed, as someone else pointed out, that the UHT milk packets are now past it's 'use by' date. In spite of several minus points, I felt the hotel has potential and was good enough for a night or two. It would be great if new management would take over. My advice to them would be to pay attention the feedback and try to improve those areas that people have consistently complained about. Get a properly qualified team in to fix the grouting, don't just hire some guy who thinks they know how to do it. Empty the rubbish bins in the parking area. Continue renovating. Don't use the bar area as a family hangout. Listen to the guests comments, both positive and negative.

We used to live in the area and fondly remembered this hotel as being very good and of a high standard, unfortunately what we experienced was the dirtiest, scruffiest hotel we had ever stayed in. The whole place was beyond tired, the doors in our room had peeling paint. The bathroom had not had a proper clean in some considerable time with a brown toilet bowl and dirty taps and sink. We had to ask for towels. Walls in the room were covered in damp stains. At £72 per night this was not what we expected. Had we had the slightest chance of acquiring two nights at a different hotel on a busy bank holiday weekend we would have walked out , complaining was pointless as all the staff we saw were foreign with limited English or intelligence
