It's a shame, I have stayed in the hotel for 6 times through 2023.
But each time I stayed, i questioned the service and cleaned rooms over the stays.
It's at the top end for price, for no service for food at the advertised restaurant in the hotel, no buffet breakfast, as you have to order from the menu, for additional cost, and to top it they tried to ask me extra money for the parking! In their secluded car park, which is on the premises, I argued my case and was waiver to pay.
I am a paying guest in an empty hotel. They must be losing customers.
It's supposed to be a wedding venue, god knows how.
I will be now booking elsewhere after this stay.

Muy buen servicio, habitación mediocre, una luz tintineante, almohadas incómodas y la gente hablando muy alto en el pasillo de noche. El edificio bonito. Ventilador en el baño que se enciende con la luz y hace mucho ruido y se oye el de otras habitaciones de noche. No pude dormir.

Wow what an amazing team, I had my wedding here in July. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff are so friendly and always willing to help! I highly highly recommend. Massive thank you to the team for making my wedding day the best day I could have ever dreamed of.

We chose to hold our wedding day here on Saturday 19th! It was the most amazing day! Me and my bridal party stayed the night before, the rooms was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were brilliant and made sure the whole day ran smoothly. The wedding breakfast was amazing and many guests said it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding! The ceremony room and the reception looked amazing. I also had arts by rich for the caricatures and he said the staff made him feel so welcome throughout his booking as they was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you all Southcrest for helping us have the best day ever! We will definitely return in the future… possibly for our anniversary xx

A good hotel. There was some traffic noise but my room was comfortable, if a little in need of a refresh. There was a fire alarm at 9.30pm but it was dealt with efficiently and speedily. Breakfast average but edible. A good place to stopover on my trip home from Devon.

Held a reunion for 25 people from all around the UK, on a Monday evening. Everything went really well from check in to leaving. Only had compliments from those attending. Function room was ideal for us. Food for a function was better than expected with only clean plates leaving the function room, quite unusual! The rooms were perfectly adequate for our requirements and I would say the day rate was very fair. Ours also included the evening meal as well as breakfast. All staff were excellent but a big shout out to Helen, who organised the evening and Taylor who looked after us so well on the night. Breakfast was also pretty good ,especially for those with a bit of a hangover! Cannot really fault in any way. Hope to repeat next year!

We recently had our wedding day at the southcrest manor and we couldn't thank the staff more. From kay who organised everything to the rest of the staff who ensured everything ran smoothly and to plan.
