Im here for Iluxcon and I had to share my experience at the Doubletree restaurant. Incredible food and service. Tina was an absolute delight! Had the cuban and a bonkers cup of prime rib chili. Cool spot for lunch too. Thanks Tina! (And I learned about beef bacon)

I came in for a few beers with my best friend TINA was our Bartender she is absolutely awesome. She's very friendly ,assertive, and very professional I enjoy coming there when she works. The food is great and the atmosphere is decent. I will be back.

Fantastic hotel - really safe ANPR controlled underground car park, beautiful entrance and overall looks really modern and up market. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Room was good, I liked the nespresso machine and comfortable night’s sleep. Free use of the pool was nice and towels were provided. Evening meal was excellent, the bread basket and open veggie lasagne was stunning. My child’s children’s meal was huge. Would definitely stay again if in the area, the only negatives were the £10 charge for parking and the WiFi on the third floor in our room was poor.

This hotel has been one of the cleanest , & most accommodating . I was there staying from Saturday to Sunday , away from home m due to a wedding I was attending . The night time staff were pretty awesome . Sunday morning I got to experience the breakfast everyone was raving about . I was told it was complimentary - however , it was not . It was $15 buffet if it wasn’t purchased when making a reservation . I wasn’t too upset about it , I just thought it would be communicated better due to everyone thinking it was still free . I still had breakfast , which was pretty good . There was something that I feel could have been handled more professional . While I was sitting down enjoying breakfast , there was an employee who was very rude about my family standing around the tables having conversation . I wasn’t able to get her name , but she wasn’t friendly at all . She said “ can you guys move, we need this space for people to walk back & forth” . She could have went a different way about it. I also witnessed her being on the phone , talking inappropriate . Again , not professional . That should have been done in a private area where no one can hear . Overall , my sever Madison was very sweet & kind . The hostess Dee was friendly , & her personality can sure make someone’s day . The gentleman going around cleaning tables , I think his name was Kevin, made sure there were no dirty dishes laying around as we continued having breakfast . The Doubletree is a great place to stay , with a lot to do around the city . Nick made sure our checkout was fast & simple . I would definitely visit again.

I stay over 100 nights a year at hotels and I find that as I'm getting older my expectations for a stay have increased. I find that chain hotels have a standard that they sometimes exceed or at times I find they are not up to par and are about to lose their affiliation with Hilton, Marriott, etc. So when I made my reservation at the DoubleTree Reading I thought we'll see. My gosh this hotel checks all my boxes and in one case greatly exceeds my expectations. Paid covered parking free connected to the hotel check. Excellent helpful staff check. Great lobby check. Room updated and clean modern bathroom with glass shower check. But the thing that really stood out was their restaurant. Great dinner in a comfortable classy modern dinning area. And the free breakfast, couldn't believe my eyes. It was way above what other hotels offer. I would say this is what I expect at a resort such as the Hilton in Cabo. Fresh food, fruit, cheeses and meats, a wide variety of hot dishes and an omlet bar and some specialty items from Central America. I was blown away. I wish I traveled here more often I would be a regular. Great rooms, staff and hotel. Congrats DoubleTree Reading. Your the Best!

I have stayed at Hiltons across the country and this one is the model version all others should follow!! Inviting and cool decor when you enter, helpful associates at the desk who give you gourmet cookies at check in !! The rooms are exceptional with comfy beds - the parking.....FREE! - the breakfast...FREE!! And since I am a diamond member I received my $30 credit as well! The business center which is crucial when I travel - completely stocked and had a working printer!! Imagine that!! There is a restaurant/bar in house and that makes it even better. Thank you for this great stay and really hope other Hiltons whether franchise or not follows this guy:)

This hotel is located right across the street from the Santander Arena. The very friendly staff seemed genuinely invested in our comfort. Our 8th floor room was spacious, with a sitting area, large bathroom and was completely pristine. There was a nice sized fridge and plenty of pillows and more towels than we could ever use. Located just steps from the arena, I highly recommend staying here when seeing a show in town. We had a very peaceful night's rest and would absolutely stay here again.

Location is prime when seeing a game, concert or event across the street. The hotel was clean and updated and the staff was friendly, everyone had a smile on their faces, which is always nice. The room was clean and the heating system was good. Breakfast included and lounge was happening. Overall great place to stay and definitely coming back.

Vegans, you'll love it. As plant based eating and sustainable living is coming to the forefront of our lives, it's nice to see hotels on board with this. They had plant based cookies in the gift shop, healthy delish juiced smoothies, fruit, oatmeal, chia pudding and soy milk at breakfast, (quite a buffet to say the least) and a plant based shepherd's pie for dinner. I almost couldn't eat it, I couldn't believe it wasn't made from ground beef. (They said it was made from cauliflower.) Serving staff were very friendly and attentive. So that was my biggest PLUS for this hotel! Also, the rooms were great, comfy beds; I slept soundly both nights and usually I don't sleep great in hotels. The only thing I would suggest is to add a hot tub by the swimming pool and maybe one or two more elevators. Sometimes they're full and you have to wait for the next one. But we were only there Friday-Sunday, I can't speak for the weekdays. *Note to first-timers: there's a lot going on here every weekend, because it's next to the Santander Arena, and it's a hot spot for graduations, proms, weddings. We walked to Dunkin Donuts across the street, downtown to other businesses, saw the train go by (Friday night) and the City Park and Reading Pagoda are both a quick drive away. You can see the Pagoda on the hill from some of the rooms as well! I didn't know it was lit up at night!
