Mayfair Lake Resort

We traveled all over the world but this one is worst . Mayfair Nightmare that’s what I can say in one word.I stayed for two days with my wife and the day one is nothing but shocked and utterly disappointed. First and foremost the receptionist Guy name ANISH needs to be fired from the job he utterly rude and very unprofessional .This guy made our vacation a nightmare.This guy slammed my wife passport on the table in front of us because other receptionist on the side asked him some help and then he took his phone and took pictures of our passports on his personal phone because he said the printer in the hotel does not work this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional and he said no worries I will delete it later. If our personal ids shows up in dark websites I will sue this Hotel and this guy for sure . He gave us a worst room with black mold all over the bathroom and smell like old dirty rags and old dirty lodge this does not look like a 5 star hotel room and we came back and mentioned to change our room he basically argued with us telling us you booked the club rooms that’s all you get and he and other receptionist girl are smiling. Me and my wife are shocked the behavior of this guy and my wife was furious and asked for the manager to speak to so literally we are battling with this unprofessional receptionist to find a manager who can help us after a long wait we got a nice gentleman who I think it’s front desk manager forgot his name unfortunately but he gave us a decent room it’s an upgrade version we are ready to pay the extra money it’s not about the price it’s about how you deal with the customer service. Cons- Never book club rooms they are completely run down with black mold and old junky smell the corridors and the building itself is rundown it’s not atall Mayfair standards. Lots of power cuts and the AC goes off and you have to manually switch it back Hot water is not hot atall it’s is preety bad Lots of constructions are going on all over premises Receptionist team is worst not atall professional Pros- There is a girl name Jothi welcoming guests she is very nice girl this type of people needs to there for making guests feel welcomed .Very professional and very nice person helped us finding the decent room . The girls who are serving welcome drinks are very nice too Housekeeping staff for our room 414 is excellent Special mention to Vijay for the room dining service he is excellent and very professional Special mention for the chefs who did excellent cooking in the mama Mia and other restaurants 5 star for sure The restaurant staff are very professional and friendly and the ground staff are maintenance is very clean Special mention to the main gate watchmen and staff very nice and very professional Unfortunately we will never visit this hotel just because how we got treated by the front desk .

Excellent property, courteous staff, delicious spread of food at breakfast, including unique counters of various detox water, fresh vegetables juices made on the spot as per request, sandwiches counter besides various delicacies and other routine food stalls. Tea stall making fresh tea. Boating on adjoining lake, water jet scooter are adventure sports, too good walking track, shiv mandir, many curious shops, different cuisine restaurants. All in all, we 7 couples had the time of our life, during our stay from 16th to 18th December 2024.

The resort has a beautiful architectural design topped with unique green plants all around. It's unusual but here we clicked 2 pictures after every 10 steps. ‍♀️The staffs are welcoming you with a namaste and are nice. They also made a rangoli ! The room was epic but the best part was the bath-tub.♨️ Thanks to the driver to let us ride the awesome boat for 5 mins more!! The food was soo .Sadly our stomach got full. As this place cured my depression, we will be back some day ...✌️. Negative point: In breakfast I saw few flies chilling in the curd and sitting on open vegetables.
