Holiday Inn Express and Suites is a lovely place to stay in. Booked a room facing the mountains and lake. Beautiful views every morning. Convenient as it is close to Queenstown Centre where there are many eating places and restaurants, including the famous Fergburger.
Although I read about it being on a steep slope, I went ahead to book the place as Queenstown Botanic Gardens is just opposite a few streets away. Decided to take a longer but gentler walk back to the hotel from Queenstown Centre so that the walk is not that tiring.
Highly recommend this place as the staff is so friendly and hospitable. Close to Skyline & meeting place for Milford Sound Tour.Would definitely stay here again if I visit Queenstown.

Nice hotel very close to the airport. The airport and the town are a good 20 minute drive away so don’t stay in this area if you want to be near queenstown. Comfortable room and nice shower. The restaurant for dinner made good food and the gym though basic is better provisioned than many around New Zealand.

Pros: the hotel room was really clean and spacious
Location was good, really near the main shops area
Cons: the hotel informed there was no parking available as their carpark was full and it was first come first serve. So guests are expected to circle the hotel vicinity for a lot when they arrive? Especially when it’s stated that parking is available onsite.
Front desk staff was really rude with an attitude. She suggested street parking but I told her I wasn’t comfortable with parallel parking and she just got really rude with a take it or leave it attitude. We booked two rooms but she only gave one room’s card and I had to remind her for the other room’s card.
Anyways. The hotel is a maze where we had to take lift to a different level, walk to a different building and take another lift to get to the room. Abit creepy for solo travellers.
Overall; the rooms are well maintained but beware of the lack of parking + rude staff

The location of the hotel is very close to the Skyline station, and just a few minutes walking to the very famous burger shop in Queenstown. In The room is clean and with a lovely view to see the mountains. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for providing such a beautiful place for us to stay in Queenstown.

Great location just slightly out of the main area, and slightly less raucous. Our King view room was excellent had a great view. Didn’t spend a huge amount of time at the hotel because we were out and about but no complaints would return.

The room was exceptionally clean and cozy, and the proximity to restaurants, a supermarket and shopping street are within walking distance was convenient. The only problem is the parking, we didn't manage to secure a hotel parking lot, thus we are struggling to find the free carpark nearby. Luckily, the parking is free for those parks at the roadside. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

Swiss Belsuites was our favourite accommodation across the 9 accommodations we stayed during our holiday in New Zealand! We absolutely love how spacious the place is. Huge cooking space with a comfortable living room with a large L-shaped sofa made for many nights in to cook our own dinner, which was made even easier with the provision of two dishwashing machines and almost every cooking equipment/cutleries you may need. It is also the only accommodation where we got to enjoy using a smart TV where we could easily use our own subscription accounts (via scanning QR codes) to stream videos during our dinners. The bedroom is also really comfortable and the toilet was very clean as well. We also had our washing machine and dryer, which was really useful as we were in New Zealand for two weeks. The best part of our stay was the view of Lake Wakitipu which we could enjoy from our living room. Was such a great stay that we were so sad to check out at the end. Highly recommended!!

A very beautiful hotel which needs a bit of uphill walk for about 15 mins from the town centre. There're no shops restaurants in the neighbourhood but one can eat at its restaurant or room service. The room itself is very spacious, clean, well equipped and our room overlooks the lake which is great. The pickup point for Milford Sound tour we joined is along the street in front of the hotel (Stanley Street).
I tried the buffet breakfast which is so so with limited choices.
Overall I love this hotel especially the price is great compared with other hotels at the very central location.

DDanielle LouiseFantastic self contained accommodation, the space was large with a sofa, dining room table and fully fitted kitchen. The apartment also included washing machine and tumble dryer which was welcomed! The bed was comfortable and there were thick curtains to create a dark and quiet night sleep! Parking is on the streets around the accommodation, the accommodation is at the top of a steep hill but offers wonderful views over the lake! Will stay again if we return to Queenstown!

TTheOriginalRayLimMy family loved this accommodation. We especially love its proximity to the town centre. We do not need to drive to the town centre, thereby saving us the hassle of finding a car park lot for our rental car.
Our unit comes with 2 twin beds, which is ideal for my two growing kids. The bedrooms are predominantly white theme, which is what we absolutely love.
The bathrooms are very clean and hotel like.
We like the washer and dryer too. We would have hope for a unit with a better view, though we do get to see mountains when we look up.
All I can say is that we love it!

港の繁華街までも歩いて12分ほど。便利なロケーションです。フロントのお姉さんが笑顔で一生懸命お世話してくれたのが印象的でした。

UUsuario invitadoEs el hotel más satisfecho de esta viaje a Nueva Zelanda, justo en el paisaje del lago, no hay que decir que la cocina está equipada con todo el equipo, todos los platos son muy buenos, tiene una sensación de familia, muy adecuada para la cama durante una semana. El paseo del hotel es Frankton, puede ir al centro de la ciudad a lo largo del lago, aproximadamente 30 minutos, debería ser el único punto que puede ser un desventaja. Sin embargo, para la ciudad real que era apropiada para el salón, esta distancia puede ser ignorada. Además, básicamente es todo el servicio de autoservicio, no he visto la recepción abierta la puerta 😅
Si vuelve a la ciudad real, seguramente elija aquí 😘😘😘

UUsuario invitadoEl hotel se encuentra en una colina, esta vez se da la primera fila por la carretera, el primer piso por la carretera es el garaje, el estacionamiento del garaje es muy conveniente, el colina también puede subir y tomar el equipaje.
El hotel tiene tres dormitorios en un piso, tres baños, el segundo piso es un salón, somos cuatro grandes y pequeños, es bueno.
El hotel es cálido y las instalaciones son muy nuevas. La ubicación geográfica no está lejos del camino a la ciudad real, aproximadamente 10+ minutos, pero hay una gran colina muy larga...Volver al hotel un poco cansada...😂

La única falta es que no hay gases térmicos en la habitación del hotel. A veces se siente frío a media noche, y el resto es bueno.

DDoyyyI recently stayed at this hotel for a short trip and was looking for a room with a lake view, easy access to the airport, and proximity to town. It met my basic expectations.
Pros:
- Clean and well-maintained room.
- Room size is comfortable for two adults.
- 24-hour reception is very convenient.
- Bus stops (Bus 1) are right in front of the hotel.
- The balcony with chairs and a table offers a serene view of the river.
- Buffet breakfast starts early at 6:30 AM, which is great for me as my coach to Lake Tekapo was at 8am.
- Room comes with all necessities, plus a microwave, which was a huge bonus for me.
Cons:
- Booked a lake-view room, but the view was partially blocked by bushes/trees as the room was on Level 2.
Located next to a busy main road, and passerby visibility made it feel less private.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to family and friends for its convenience and comfort.

The time that we visited (May) meant that it was slightly too cold to be out on the balcony for too long, but the views that we enjoyed out of the window were magnificent.
When the first arrived the lady on the front desk was very friendly, and helpful.
We had asked for a double bed and had been allocated two single beds. She quickly contacted the ladies from house keeping and they very kindly sprung into action to help rectify the situation.
The housekeeping staff were nice and pleasant, and the location was just right for us to get out and about visiting some of the local attractions like the Kiwi birdlife park.
The big plus about staying at the highview apartments was having a parking space. When you visit queenstown you'll soon find out that in some places finding a parking space is like gold dust.
