Over the Mountain Hostel

El hotel es una renovación antigua de dormitorios. Las baldosas del piso son viejas y sucias, y las habitaciones no son grandes. Las toallas de baño están rotas y tienen muchos hilos. Las sábanas tienen algunos agujeros grandes y no se cambian. . Hay unas máquinas antiguas de exterior fuera de las ventanas, que son súper ruidosas, como un terremoto. Fue lo mismo, no dormí mucho en toda la noche, el precio fuera de temporada ronda los 180... Es realmente Una relación calidad-precio un poco demasiado baja.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good value and location this place was. The room was clean and the reception area is spacious and friendly. Especially the girl at the reception, I don't remember her name well may be something like Xinyue. Anyways she was extremely helpful and gave us tips on food, transport and hidden spots. Everything was perfect. This is probably the best place to stay location wise and comfort wise.

The room and bedsheets are clean. Can improve further if can display information to places of interest at the lobby.

This is a very welcoming hostel with friendly staff and a big communal area featuring a pool table and table football. It was nice to have a drink and play pool at the end of the day. The surrounding area has an arty vibe, very different from the rest of the city. Takes about 30-40 mins to walk to the main old town district of Quanzhou, or 10 mins by taxi. They also rent out electric scooters. Again the staff were really cool. Overall a nice chill atmosphere here.

Very good nice place and helpful staff. Location in an artsy district but far from center: rent their scooter for one day and you can enjoy the city a lot!

Really enjoyed my stay here, front desk was very helpful in answering our questions. There's also a dog and cat (so cute) and if you have any questions you can add them on WeChat and they'll answer you quite fast :) Do take note that there is no lift and you'll need to climb the stairs. There's also self-service washing machine at the back which you'll need to pay to use. Free baggage drop and there's a very big lounge area which is very suitable if you are traveling with friends or looking to make new friends. The bunk beds are usually on the first level. It's a bit far from convenience stores but you can order in takeout (they'll deliver to the front desk and you'll need to pick it up) else there's also some cafes and restaurants around the area. For cheaper eat you'll need to walk out abit more but it is still within a walkable distance. Although there's also someone singing at night from the nearby cafes, I do feel that the soundproofing is done well and couldn't really hear much after closing the door.
