Abeloessa Methonian Hospitality

What an excellent find!! Clean rooms with full sized fridge/freezer, microwave and hob. All rooms in the two storey new building that is Abeloessa had a balcony. There is a large pool and a bar. All in a quiet area of Methoni. Excellent service from both the manager, Niki, and the cleaner/barlady/everything in between, Angelina. The breakfasts were exceptional and plentiful enough to carry over to lunch! It may not be the cheapest accommodation but I’d say definitely value for money and we were sad to leave!

My wife and I spent a fortnight at Abeloessa from 8 - 22 May 2024 in Room No.1, a superior queen apartment on the ground floor. We had a nice view of the garden and the pool from our covered terrace. Every morning we had a very substantial and delicious breakfast brought to us by the lovely Angelika who also cleaned our apartment on a daily basis. She was available throughout the day at the pool bar too. Niki provided any support required at reception every day and was very helpful throughout our stay. She gave us recommendations for restaurants in Methoni, Finikounda, Koroni and Pylos when we were out and about in our hired car. Abeloessa was in a perfect position for us, being slightly out of Methoni. A safe road took us down to the sea in around 5 minutes and the coast road, with lovely views of the bay and castle, took us into Methoni in a further 5 minutes. We highly recommend Abeloessa for a holiday in Methoni.

Abeloessa Abeloessa is an excellent, quite new & fantastic place, one of those rare gems that really exceeds your expectations. Niki (the owner) and staff are there for you 24/7 and all are very kind and very welcoming ! At arrival Niki gave us an upgrade to app.no 5 which was an amazing large 2 floor apartment with a great view from the big balcony, actually all apartments have a good view and a big terrace and all are very nice decorated! Also the beds are super comfortably The breakfast was more than enough, one of the best breakfast we ever had!! Every day Niki made me a yummie Margarita which I enjoyed by the swimming pool! The location is just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Methoni and only a 5 minute drive to a very nice beach with an amazing Beachbar (Zanzibar)! Parking is free, safe, and on own property with a closed gate.. As I said we found the friendliest and most attentive staff. The bottles of local wine and olive oil were a great touch. We highly recommend to stay here for your visit at Methoni and if we ever return to Peloponnesos we definitely will stay here again! Πολύ θετική εμπειρία από την στιγμή της κράτησης μέχρι την στιγμή του checkout. Ευγενέστατο σέρβις, περιποιημένες και καθαρές εγκαταστάσεις. Το ισόγειο δωμάτιό μας για οικογένεια 4 ατόμων ήταν ικανοποιητικότατο, ευρύχωρο και καθαρό, όμορφα διακοσμημένο με όλες τις ανέσεις (π.χ. air condition και στα δύο δωμάτια). Μεγάλο και άνετο μπαλκόνι κοντά στην πισίνα. Το πρωινό που σερβίρεται σε δίσκους στο διαμέρισμα ήταν πολύ καλό σε ποιότητα και ποικιλία για μικρούς και μεγάλους: σάντουιτς, αλείμματα, σαλάτες, αβγά κ ομελέτες, φρούτα, γιαούρτι, pancakes, αρτοποιήματα, φρούτα, χυμός, καφές κλπ. Ο χώρος της πισίνας επίσης όμορφος. Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία κοντά στο κέντρο της Μεθώνης και σε πολλές παραλίες, χωριά και αξιοθέατα. Εάν έπρεπε οπωσδήποτε να βρω ένα αρνητικό θα ήταν η έλλειψη παραθύρου στο μπάνιο, έχει μόνο εξαερισμό, γεγονός που πάντα ευνοεί την υγρασία και τις δυσάρεστες οσμές. Θα το σύστηνα και θα ξαναερχόμουν ευχαρίστως με κάθε ευκαιρία.
