Mayfair Heritage

I had a great stay at Mayfair Heritage, Puri, with a few ups and downs. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was really good, and most of the staff were welcoming and helpful. Pravanjan from housekeeping was the best—extremely kind and attentive. Sushmeeta provided excellent service, making our stay comfortable. The waiters at the restaurant were also very attentive, and the rest of the hotel staff were professional and polite. The staff training was excellent, except for Pritam, the reception manager, whose rude attitude made it seem like he was doing us a favor rather than providing service, which was quite disappointing. The private beach was really nice, but the locality from the public beach was a bit far. The swimming pools were clean and well-maintained. However, the buffet food was just average, and the à la carte menu did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel. One major issue I faced was the lack of "Beware of Monkeys" signs near the windows. Since there were no warnings, I left the window open, and monkeys entered our room, taking some of our belongings. Fortunately, Pravanjan managed to recover them for us, but this could have been avoided with proper signage. The rooms were fine overall, but the washbasin area in the washroom was a bit uncomfortable. Despite a few setbacks, the hotel has a lot of good things to offer. With a little improvement in food quality and addressing individual staff behavior, it could truly deliver a five-star experience.

The staff is very courteous. Ashok who served is took really good care of us. However the amenities and quality of rooms provided vis a vis the room rent is jot justifiable. I feel more can be done to improve the rooms. ……………………………………………………..

Our lunch experience at the Verandah,the Indo chinese restaurant was fabulous.The FnB Manager Deenabandu was so courteous and helpful in giving us good menu recommendations.We were served with great seafood and the Prawn fried rice was amazing.

The rooms are great. Great house keeping staff especially anadi. Little issue with the room service at night for baby's milk. They were not picking up the phone calls. A good family vacation. Everything else was great. Great property and location.

Very Good service, especially from Prabhanjan Views are amazing. Privacy is Good Separate beach for people is nice Food is amazing. Tastes are good of both breakfast and dinner I would recommend Mayfair to others too I would like to revisit this place

We had a great experience at Mayfair Waves. I visited with my family. Ashok called my dad asking why he didnt come for dinner. My dad felt amazing that he was remembered and came for dinner right away. Jharna has been providing great service with a kind smile everyday. Anything that we asked for was brought to us. Bindu also provided good service. Apart from restaurant Harsh at front desk also helped us by suggesting best shopping spots and letting us know what’s going around the hotel.
