My overall experience staying at Blue Lily Beach Resort, Puri, was extremely disappointing. Despite being advertised as a 3-star property and marketed as a 4-star facility, it is, in reality, more of a 2-star accommodation. The resort is essentially a converted 10+ years old studio apartment complex with 200 units. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was shocked to find the bedsheets in a deplorable state; they were visibly dirty and clearly used. The situation was so dire that I couldn't even sit on the bed. It took the hotel staff two hours to provide fresh bedsheets, and during this time, I had to assist the housekeeping staff myself as they were short-staffed. Even after this follow-up, the hotel could only manage to change the bedsheets and pillow covers. Regrettably, the second pair of washed cushions promised by the hotel was never provided. The pictures on travel sites is totally apposite of the actual condition of the so called Resort. Here's my rating based on my experience: Food - 4/5 Crockery - 2/5 Cleanliness - 1.5/5 Availability of Housekeeping Staff - 2/5 Managerial Service - 0.5/5 Rooms and Bathrooms - Rooms are spacious but toilet and bathing area was just 2*2ft.
