My husband and I booked the hotel for 3 nights. We arrived at 14.00 at the hotel and there was nobody in the reception, restaurant or surrounding the hotel. We had the keys in the desk of the reception and a note with a phone number to call. We entered in the room (please see the pictures below, completely dirty and in bad conditions) and we realized there was no running water and electricity. We already knew that the hotel cut electricity from16.00h to 20.00h but it was only 14.00h. Therefore we called the manager and he told us that he was coming at 15.00h. At 15.45 we called again and he said he would arrive at 16.00h. At 16.15h still nobody there, so we called again. The manager promised me that he would be at the hotel in 5 minutes. At 17.30h, still nobody there and the manager hanging up the phone everytime we called, so we informed Agoda to cancel our reservation since the manager was a lier and unprofessional. The funniest thing is that Agoda called him and he only wanted to give us the money back for two nights instead of three since we had been "using" the hotel for 3 hours. 3 hours that we had been outside the room since the room had no electricity or running water and we didn't even use the toilet. The were another two people in the same situation and they told us the manager never went to the hotel in the end. They also left. Please don't make the same mistake we made and don't book this hotel. It's so funny it's classified as a resort. The rest of the hotels have electricity 24 hours and their managers don't lie to you. Believe me there are cheapest and better hotels/resorts in the island.
