Rawa Island Resort es un hotel con todas las comodidades que necesita uno para pasar unas hermosas vacaciones. Comida rica abundante y variada. Frutas y verduras de todo tipo. Carnes elavoradas y hasta algunos pescados y mariscos. El plan todo incluido tambien tiene bebidas frías y calientes simples para el desayuno, merienda y comidas. Té, Café y Agua potable que se repone constantemente. El personal es SUPER amable y servicial. Siempre muy atentos a todo. Cuentan con un grupo super equipado para tomar clases de buceo e imersiones. Dicen que loa corales y vida marina que hay en la zona, es alucinante. Nosotros no hicimos uso de eso por eso no puedo asegurarlo. Los tragos y bebidas alcoholicas (de pago) estaban frías y deliciosas. Muy buen servicio de los Bartenders. Disponen de sectores con cancha de volley, ping pong, billar, dardos y algo mas. En pleno muelle que da al mar, tienen 2 toboganes gigantes los cuales son el atractivo principal para los menores y no tan chicos tambien. La playa... que decir de la playa?? DE PELICULA! La arena blanca y suave como azucar impalpable y el mar de color turquesa, celeste, verde.. variando dia a dia segun el clima. Es un verdadero paraíso. A pocos minutos caminando hacia la izquierda del muelle veras otro hospedaje (mucho mas rudimentario), cruzando un poco mas, veras una especie de cueva que te conduce a una playa solitaria y escondida cuando sube la marea. Un paraíso en la tierra. Solamente ponemos 4 estrellas ya que la habitacion mas economica que fue la que alquilamos, dejaba mucho que desear en cuanto a estetica y mantenimiento. No puedo opinar de las de categoria mas alta. Aún asi y todo, volveríamoa sin dudarlo. La pasamos de lujo en este hotel comiendo y tomando tragos exquisitos con los pies en el agua. Pack your bags and come to Rawa Island. An absolutely amazing experience from this pearl of an Island. The most beautiful beach and clean water we have ever seen. Perfect for snorkeling and playing in the water. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were so lucky to be on the Island with just a few other guests so we felt like we had the resort almost for ourselves. The food was tasty and our kids loved it. RAWA Island Resort is a true gem in the South China Sea!

The resort room is outdated and poorly maintained, with visible mold on the bathroom walls and door. Cleanliness was below expectations. The meals were very basic, with no coffee machine coffee and no juices or cordials offered during dinner and lunch. At RM1,500 per night inclusive of three meals per day, the price is not justified by the level of service and quality provided.

Our stay at Rawa Island Resort was nothing short of magical! The crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and lush surroundings made it a true tropical paradise. The resort itself is stunning, with comfortable accommodations and plenty of activities. Kudos to the chef, we were blown away by the variety and quality of the meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were never repeated, and each dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From local specialities to international favourites, every meal was a delightful surprise. Specially mentioned Carlos and Hanim, who elevate Rawa Island Resort from great to extraordinary. We can't wait to return—thanks to them, we left with not just memories, but new friends.

I had a 3D2N stay at Rawa Island Resort. On my second day, I discovered that a sum of cash and two cards were missing from my wallet after housekeeping entered the room. What’s troubling is that: 1. We were not informed in advance that housekeeping would be entering. 2. There was no CCTV coverage in place to review the incident. 3. When I raised the issue, the response from management was dismissive, and no apology or clear action plan was given. Many things are short of expectations: 1. The quality of the food was below standard and the service was extremely disappointing. 2. There was no in-room phone available, making it inconvenient to contact reception. 3. When my friend requested a hairdryer, she was told to collect it herself from the reception which is not the level of service we expected. 4. We celebrated my friend’s birthday in the cafe, I asked the waiter to help cut my birthday cake but I was told by the waiter that I can cut myself. I found this response to be dismissive and lacking basic courtesy. It’s unfortunate that what was meant to be a memorable celebration was marred by these experiences. Overall, SUCKS!

I had a very upsetting experience at Pulau Rawa resort. During my stay, my cash and credit cards went missing, and the resort staff were shockingly unhelpful. They called the manager out but he never apologize, furthermore he told us that his staffs are so unhappy when he questioned them and told us that might be us misplaced our cash and card. But 2 rooms got partial cash and cards missing, how isit possible? I reported the issue immediately, but instead of investigating (like checking the cleaner’s room or reviewing any internal processes), they just brushed it off. I was told to go make a police report on my own, and they even mentioned it’s “too troublesome” and involves “a lot of paperwork” for them. There was zero sense of responsibility or effort to help me. For a place that charges premium prices, this kind of service and attitude is unacceptable. I felt completely abandoned at a time when I needed support the most. Very disappointed. I won’t return, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

The buffet choice is too limited, hope can have international style of meal which will make the trip perfect. For room condition a bit old and shall have more maintenance job to maintain the resort. If the package include the snorkling activity will be great The easy and go style is the most I like

We love Rawa. It had a beautiful and very safe house reef. The coral and the sea life is comparable to the Maldives. My kids are divers and tell me there is more to see in Rawa than the Great Barrier Reef in terms of sea life. We live in Singapore and it’s an easy drive to Mersing where we catch the boat to the island. We know what to expect and go with the expectation that the beach and the reef is amazing, but the food and service could do a lot better, you will love it. My kids eat almost everything, but at Rawa they will only eat pasta and the adults in the family will settle for salad and soup. They have the makings of a great restaurant as all the ingredients are up to a high standard, but unfortunately it isn’t being utilised in a successful way. The accomodation is comfortable and aircon etc works really well. But the rooms aren’t very tastefully decorated. Our sofa had bits of paint coming off the leather and the chairs have no springs left. The bathroom taps are wobbly and fragile but work. Also the beach chairs are incredibly uncomfortable, most are broken and there are no beach umbrellas for shade. But if you come knowing all this, and you don’t expect luxury and amazing service, you will have a wonderful time. I will be back!!

safe for the kids . Stay close to lobby area is great for elderly w leg issue . Restaurant has variety of food and children pasta changed everyday . Support wheelchair transfer manually by human and one unit with handicap access Waterfront unit 28 is one of the closest to lobby and seaside too but have lots of bats hanging up at the tree next to it. Quite noisy in the early morning when all the bats position themselves. Toilet has sewage emitted smell and linger strongly .
