Fabulous! El Galleon/Asia Divers is a great little resort tucked in corner up against a hill. The restaurant is open air with a roof and great for just hanging out. My room (#21) was plain and simple with a great mattress. It had a TV but I wasn't in PG to sit in a room. Plenty of hot water. I ate off the Filipino menu my entire stay and it was excellent. Only draw back - no halo halo. Asia Divers has a great equipment room and nice hardware. They'll help Olds like me getting on and their banka boats. The diving was out of this world. The dive guides are helpful and skilled. Special mention of Allison, the resort manager, who arranged a boat and guides for me and a dive buddy to go to Verde Island, one of the most incredible dives I have ever taken. Yes, we paid extra for the boat and the guides but Verde Island was worth it. We split the bill two ways but if we could have recruited more divers the individual costs would have been split 3-ways, 4-ways, etc. El Galleon and Asia Divers punch well above their wait. If you want to maximize your diving and your money, this resort is the place to go. Moderate prices, first class diving, and great food. The staff is friendly and helpful with great memories for small things like how I took my coffee, etc. Of particular note is the town along Sabang Beach. It used to have a narrow winding path to the resorts that took you buy all kinds of sketchy sex tourism places and hole-in-the-wall dive shops. All that is gone now. They have a wide boardwalk and have pushed the girlie bars up the hill and off the beach.
