1. YOU NEED A CAR 2. Nothing anywhere near, no shops, nothing 3. Pictures made to look better than it is 4. The two main young boys that take orders for dinner at night DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH 5. They do not understand a word you’re saying, so their website is incorrect. 6. Scrambled eggs were cold, pasta was cold and hard, asked for a pizza and we were told no. 7. No check back done at dinner. 8. The staff are rude and have no customer care skills whatsoever. 9. I asked for some hot water and it seemed I started an Italian war. 10. They do not do food during the day. 11. In fact there is no one about during the day. 12. No conversation from staff towards you whatsoever. 13. You have to drive along a very bumpy dirt track road for a good 5 minutes to get into the place and back. 14. I used the sunbeds twice by the pool and the back bit that you lean back on collapsed TWICE resulting in throwing me back onto the ground and banging my head, second time I hurt my arm resulting in some bruising. 15. I used my phone to translate to report it to one of the younger boys as the main guy was not about, he said he would tell main guy, NOT ONE PERSON came to see if I was ok. Overall the worst holiday experience of my life. As I don’t drive it was £100 euros in a taxi to get you to nearest beach or main city. I would not have booked this if it had said you need a car. 16. Absolutely no atmosphere at all in the place. 17. Do not go.

The accomodation was very comfortable with impeccable views. The staff was very helpful and made everything possible to make us happy. The breakfast and dinner were abundant and delicious. There are also lots of animals roaming freely around.

It was a great experience at this beautiful place. The staff are wonderful and made our stay one of the best! Our kids loved the animals, including the horse and the peacock. The room were confortable and the facilties were fine. Thank you guys and hope to see you soon :)

Friendly country hotel in remote location but very close to the airport. Perfect start for our road trip through Sardinia. Relaxed feel, great rooms and lovely pool to chill out. superb restaurant with homecooked food

We honeymooned here this week. Perfectly traditional, rustic Sardinian renovated, extended and modernised barns with sunny pool and 2.5km walk/running track out the back with great views across the valley. No noise from other rooms or the dining area later at night - Sardinians eat late! due to such solid walls and double glazed windows. 6 miles from the airport, easy driving in our small rental car, far away enough from the, quiet, dual carriageway not to impact us whatsoever. 15-20 min drives to various beautiful beaches, ancient castles and villages all with lovely bars and cafes to enjoy more food and drinks at our leisure. The hotel itself was clean tidy with great service throughout the day - just ask a staff member and they will get you anything you need - they do pause for an hour 2-3pm (typical of most places here). The restaurant was busy every night with residents and non residents. A sure sign the food is sumptuous indeed. Excellent value for money, lovely sunny pool allowing us to catch rays until gone 6pm even in late September. A truly wonderful trip. We plan to return next year!

We stayed at Borgo for two days (one night) and there was a lot to love. The staff was really helpful and great people. Easy to like and they took great care of us. We loved the pool, the lunch and the eating area. The two big problems were what happened when we were having dinner. All the guests were surrounded by wasps. There were a lot of wasp around the pool area, but they did not cause problems. When people got their food, they were all over guests and the food. Some of the guests had to leave the table, some kids panicked and others spent all their time trying to fend them off. We did not enjoy the dinner at all because of this. The staff burnt coffee to get the wasps to leave, but it did not help....The owners probably should try to deal with the wasps in another way, as guest would probably not come back for dinner when this happens. The other problem was the AC in the room. The kids could not get to sleep because it was really hot. 28-29 degrees inside despite the AC on 18 degrees. When we rented a villa in Alghero, all the ACs worked great. Kept the bedrooms cool. This was not the case here.... But, we did enjoy staying there despite two problems.
