Hotel Villa Margherita

Small family run sea front hotel in nice location. Rooms are good size with quality ensuites and comfy beds. Virtually all have balconies facing the sea. All staff were experienced and keen to offer a professional, welcoming service. The outdoor dining area is beautifully situated overlooking the pool with views down through the large garden to the seafront. We stayed on half board and the evening meal was always of a very high standard and very good value, similarly red wine was very good and fairly priced [don't drink white]. bar prices very good. Whilst the quality of food at breakfast was good it was very Germanic. Some healthier options and variety would improve the choice. To sum up ''why wouldn't you want to stay here''

Truly a lovely little hotel with nice service and interactions. We stayed in a room with our adult daughter. Golfo Aranci is a great base for North-Eastern Sardinia excursions. They hotel attracts a delightful mixture of people from different countries and age ranges. Although not on the beach, the location is great for shopping and restaurants.

Immaculately presented hotel in one of the best locations on the island. Wonderful sea-view rooms overlooking the bay, with large balconies and high quality furnishings & fittings. Well stocked minibar, safe and comp toiletries. Welcoming, helpful staff, a nice bar, great pool, sunbeds with push-button service for drinks and a good amount of lounge areas. Breakfast served until 11, so there is no need to set your alarm! Superb gardens, plenty of parking and an excellent late check out of midday as standard. Good gym area and quality massage services. Great location - right next to the beach and close to the ferry port and town (all within a couple of minutes walk). We really felt like the hotel team were focused on us enjoying our holiday - and we did! We will be returning for sure.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay half board . The hotel was excellent just over the road from the marina and beach . We had half board and the dinners were amazing . Staff were very friendly , hotel was immaculate and the gardens & pool superb . Only 2 minor gripes air conditioning was noisy in room and wouldn’t adjust and breakfast food was adequate but nowhere near as good as the dinners .

What a beautiful hotel. We stayed here as a family of 4 for a week at the end of July. Spotlessly clean, the staff were fantastic! Gabriella, Elise and Elizabetta were all so helpful and kind and really made our stay. The pool is fabulous. Never felt busy. Our room on the top floor had wonderful views and was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is very well kept and it's in the perfect location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Thanks to all the team for such a fantastic stay.

We made 3 attempts to get to Villa Margherita, twice our booking was cancelled due to the pandemic, third time lucky and it was worth the wait. From the booking process to departure nothing is too much trouble the team do their utmost to ensure you have a memorable time . We had an airport pick up arranged for us by the hotel very efficient, no waiting time at the airport and were greeted by smiles, water & sweets even at 10.30pm. Alfredo in the restaurant was very professional always made sure we had a nice table and the service was faultless, better than we experienced anywhere else on the island. 4 courses with 3 choices of each, the food was delicious we never normally chose to eat at a hotel restaurant but the food was too good not to. A lot of fish dishes which we loved. We chose a room with a whirl pool but would probably recommend a sea view on the higher levels as they have great harbour views. The garden and pool area is stunning drink service is available all day though a buzzer system, best Aperols in Sardinia. Drinks weren’t expensive by hotel standards, sunbeds were plentiful no problem getting a bed at 12pm, there are various walkable beaches with a couple of lovely beach bars worth the short walk. There’s a market on a Monday just outside the hotel area with some lovely dresses at great prices. Reception arranged a hire car at short notice it couldn’t have been any easier, car was delivered to the hotel when promised, no waiting around and when you’re done hand the keys in at reception and they do the rest, The reception staff are a joy ! Always a smile and chat about your day … my only gripe and it’s a small one is breakfast could be better. Limited hot food and a lot of pastries. Having said that I would highly recommend a visit the team are amazing, we will definitely return.
