We stayed at this small hotel in Matera, which despite being small has all the necessary amenities. One of the advantages is that it is located close to the road, which avoids long walks with luggage through the ups and downs of the small town (which are many, believe me) since car traffic is very restricted. It is worth noting the kindness and availability of Salvério, the manager, with tips on tours and meals in the town! I didn't give it the highest rating because the pillows weren't as comfortable as everything else (a minor detail, as I said before). I recommend it!

My experience at Evodia Luxury Rooms was truly exceptional. Despite our late arrival at 1:15 AM, the staff greeted us warmly and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. They were incredibly attentive throughout our stay, offering detailed advice on how to get around quickly and suggesting fantastic dining options in the area. Upon arrival, they welcomed us with a refreshing drink, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture after a long journey. The attention to detail didn’t stop there; the breakfast each morning was delightful, with a variety of fresh and delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. The combination of outstanding service, helpful recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere made our stay at Evodia Luxury Rooms an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special place to stay.

Can't recommend this place more highly. If you're staying in one of the Sassi, a cave hotel is a must have experience in my mind. All the amenities were on offer for a very comfortable stay, including a robust AC and a beautiful bathroom. The staff was fantastic. We're going to miss the bread of Matera and the delicious breakfasts each morning! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

We were in this hotel at the beginning of June 24. Everything was absolutely perfect ! First of all, the kindness and commitment of Betty and Ivana on phone who gave us all the necessary informations to facilitate our arrival in Matéra and the journey to the hotel ! Then the warm welcome from Ivana upon our arrival ! The Help from Samir, so kind and available, with our luggage ! And which gives us information about the city. The hotel, ideally located in a quiet area, with a magnificent view on the Paleolithic caves, and which is entirely built in the rocks !! And the rooms, under the vaults, so chic, of exquisite taste, comfortable, where you immediately feels so good ! Finally, the breakfast, copious and varied, which offers fresh and delicious products ! It was an exceptional stay in an exceptional establishment ! We loved it and can’t wait… to come back soon !!

We arrived by car at this new, modern hotel. We could easily park the car in one of the free parking spaces in the fenced area in front of the impressive building. At the reception we were welcomed by a lady who was top friendly and super professional at the same time. When we checked in, we immediately felt warmly welcome. We were given valuable tips for our stay in the city, and we were also helped to book a table for dinner when seats in the restaurants were scarce because of the weekend. The spacious rooms have a creative design. At the same time, they are very homely. Everything is absolutely clean. The beds are comfortable with pleasant pillows. Air conditioning and rain shower are of course also part of the great equipment. At breakfast, we were equally welcomed by brilliant staff who complemented the rich, high-quality buffet with perfect service. We will be back!

El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad de Matera, en Thymus Residence, y tiene un coche de alquiler y reserva en un garaje seguro a unos 15 minutos del BnB para nuestras dos noches (no puede conducir en Matera-- sólo se permiten coches w. permisos). El hotel está en una zona de la ciudad de Veronica, donde se encuentran los mejores lugares de la ciudad. La habitación es maravillosa! ¡Una cueva, pero una ventana pequeña en el baño y una ventana mayor en la frente para quedar en luz! La renovación de la habitación era grande-- como el carácter de toda la ciudad-- Wow, fue un par de días mágico-- a pesar de la calor de 37 grados! El desayuno de cada mañana era delicioso-- con opciones dulces y sabrosas- todo delicioso y servido en la terraza en la sombra, con una vista perfecta de los alrededores de sassi. ¡Nos gustaba pasear por la ciudad y aprender sobre su historia interesante!
