Blue Ivy is a very nice hotel with a great location in Protaras area. I would reccomend it mainly for families. It has one pool for adults and one pool for kids. The adults pool is nice but I expected it a bit larger for the size of the hotel... The restaurant is exactly near the adults pool and it's very decent. Breakfast is superb and staff is super nice. Overall I had a good experience.

We booked this hotel for a girls trip. From the point of contact the hotel staff have been amazing and nothing lhas been to much trouble. David kindly helped us by giving suggestions for hotel transfers. On the second day here whilst we were having breakfast, a lovely English lady called Hailey came over to welcome us and she was very warm and friendly. She advised us on things to do around the area. She was then kind enough to offer us a complimentary 50% voucher off for food and unlimited drinks for that evening. We had booked B&B as we enjoy exploring the local area. That evening at dinner a lovely gentleman came over to say hello to us. His manner was so warm and welcoming and we only realised afterwards that this was the General manager Nicos. He was so lovely, that he upgraded us to a superior sea front room. The coffee machine in the room was amazing. My friend and I are staying in room 328....which gives a beautiful sea view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples/friends and d families for its location to beach and local restaurants and amenities. But we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nicos who has an amazing team of staff who all go out of their way to smile and make you feel like nothing is too much. Nicos seems to have a warm relationship with his staff and guests and always comes out to greet his guests, giving a personal touch. We have 2 more days at this lovely hotel. What a lovely and immaculate hotel in the Protaras area. I have been trying to book this hotel since it was first opened in 2018, then covid happened, and the rest was history. Fast forward to 2024, after numerous attempts to book the Blue Ivy for a family of 6, I finally did, and it was such a great satisfaction. The hotel does live up to the TA reviews and what you see it exactly what you get in terms of the cleanliness of the hotel, close proximity to the beach, great variety of food selection, atmosphere within the hotel and surroundings and most especially the wonderful service and hospitality provided by the hotel staff. Nicos the hotel manager is a wonderful person and can be easily approached for ANYTHING and this goes for most of his other staff. Even though he couldn't guarantee us a late check out, on our final day, he presented us with a voucher that allowed us 50% off anything purchased in the hotel. Everything that this hotel exhibits has been highlighted by most on TA. I would highly recommend staying at the BlH in the future. It was a great pleasure to finally get to experience this gem of a place.

Visited Cyprus in June 2025 and stayed at the Blue Ivy hotel for 10 days - all inclusive. I have to say that this is by far the BEST hotel that I have stayed in. We were greeted by the manager Nicos who has an open door policy. He is extremely welcoming and goes above and beyond in his role, he also takes pride in the hotel and his staff. The staff are extremely friendly, you get a very warm welcome at the Utopia resturant and the pool bar. The food in the returant is absolutely delicious, with themed nights of an evening and al carte menu at lunchtimes. The pool bar offers a range of brand drinks and cocktails. The room was very clean and well maintained, with a kettle and daily supplies of tea/coffee. Fridge and safe provided. There is also a daily supply of towels for sunbeds that is free of charge. The pool has an adults pool and family pool - no fights for sunbeds as there are plenty. There is aqua aerobis 2x a week along with a violinist. We have already rebooked for 2026 and look forward to revisiting - would highly recommend.
