Parking was tough on Saturday as there was a hockey game and chess tournament in the the convention center. Pool was too busy with families as it was a public pool not in the hotel. It was clean, new and personnel was friendly. I was surprised at the cost change for 3 different nights.

The hotel itself and the spa were wonderful. The food and the entertainment were sub-par. The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated, the hotel was clean, the Spa was amazing (highly recommend the facials). The food was not great, the bar service not great. It was a cold crappy day so it was a slower afternoon, however still expected to get good service. We were ignored by the bartender for the most part. Went down for supper, service was good, however it was clear the waitress was not familiar with the ”new menu”. The new menu itself needs to be edited, as the descriptions are not consistent. The ”watermelon mojito” did not contain any watermelon at all, and had I paid more attention to the description, it actually does not describe any watermelon at all. Several of the food items did not describe if sides were included or not, which changed how we ordered our food. The panfried haddock was completely coated in egg, which I had to peel off, and it did not say it included vegetables, so I ordered a salad, and when it came it fully had a side of vegetables. The entertainment was quite talented, however it was advertised as two different singers and there was in fact only one, who started an hour later than advertised. Of our 4 days on the island it was by far the worst meal, to the extent that we didn't even bother trying the breakfast, we just left in the morning. I hope the menu issues get resolved so visitors can have a great overall experience there.

Outstanding hotel, excellent staff, great set up. Stayed here with a hockey team and hotel was packed with other hockey teams. Teams had rooms together, code of conduct very clear, teams also each had an assigned area to socialize, and to keep the chaos contained. Outside of these areas it was quiet and kids were able to sleep before important games. Breakfast good. Because of the way this hotel was expanded in the past, the central corridor is bright and has a real resort feel.

Great Place to stay in Summerside, PEI. My family and I love this hotel. The staff are so wonderful, from the breakfast staff to the Front Desk manager and all the other staff we met. I will return and recommend all my friends and family go visit this little Gem of hotel!
