We stayed at the Briarwood for two nights while we attended a family funeral at the beginning of January. Lisa and Paul certainly went out of their way to accommodate our needs and be sensitive to what we as a family were going through. Having to coordinate rooms for over 26 people including children was challenging and Lisa was always eager to make us feel welcome and gracefully handle all the commotion that went on given the nature of our stay.

Briarwood has a beautiful location, with great views. Lisa and Paul were extremely friendly. We stayed in the motel section and were happy with the clean, functional room. Our room had great internet connection, had a fridge with small freezer, microwave and a coffee maker; however, you need to make a full pot. There is no food offered on the property, but Alberton isn't far. We were visiting family so had no need for food services. We had picked up some juice boxes and muffins before arriving for our breakfasts. We will definitely return just to enjoy the restful atmosphere.

We stayed in the "inn" and not in the cottages so did not have the advantage of a view from the room. The rooms were big, clean and well appointed but not cozy. This facility is located in a lovely area of PEI and is a good choice if you do not plan to spend the day in your room -- and rather plan to enjoy the grand adventure of PEI on bike or hiking.

My mother Lorna, my son Mark and I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. We have relatives all over the island that said we could stay with them but if we had it would have been tougher to entertain. After 2 days of travel, one flying from Florida to Massachusetts, the other driving to PEI, I didn’t want to drive around visiting everyone. So thanks to my cousin Angela we found this gem! The Cabin was perfect for friends and relatives to stop by. I really enjoyed the ready to light fire pits. There are 3 or 4. Everything about this place was perfect especially Lisa the owner. My mother is a 91 years old clean freak and she loved it. Make the right chose. Choose this place!

We all drove out to PEI and stayed here for a week. The cabins are great and the end unit (fully renovated) at the lodge. The rooms are large and equipped with what you need. There's a swing set, dock, fire pits, horse shoe pit and a huge field to play anything in. The hosts are really nice and hospitable. We used the on site laundry. It's located on the outskirts of Alberton so there are places in town to go and get all that you need. That's only 5 mins or less away. We found places to eat and of course ice cream! The wifi was rock solid.

It’s a beautiful property and Lisa is a wonderful host. We enjoyed sitting out by the lake and enjoying some restful time. Their slogan… where the world stops, is the reality here. The proximity to Alberton was a big plus, as we could get everything we needed food wise.
