Avoid this hotel at all costs. The internet photos present it in a much better light than it really is. I knew at checking in that this was a mistake. The hotel is incredibly old and tired. We were given a room that opened onto the parking lot and this just didn’t feel safe. The wardrobe in the room contains the TV but no space for hanging cloths - that’s out in the open. The towel rail in the bathroom was rusty and corroded. The duvet and pillows were very thin and the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine landing. There are much better hotels in Price and we made a decision to vacate this one without spending the night and head to another hotel.

The lobby is very nice. A very nice pool right off the lobby looked very inviting. A fitness center, and even a coupon for the restaurant next door. The room was sun-par. Laminate floor as opposed to carpet which is fine, but it made the room very noisy. The clerk at the front desk wasn’t very helpful, and didn’t seem to know his job very well. We were charged the incidentals fee twice. Being out of of town this is an inconvenience, tying up our debit card and credit card. When we asked we were told there was nothing they could do. I understand how deposits work, but as this was the first leg of a several day trip, we were frustrated. At the time of this post over a week later, neither of the incidentals charges have fallen off. We’ve stayed here before, and reluctantly made the choice to stay again. It is an inexpensive motel, so it does have benefits. All in all, I would suggest paying a little extra and staying elsewhere.

Horrible front desk/manager staff. We got told multiple different answers to my questions and they didn’t want to hold up what their staff said. Also not the most comfortable place to stay and the rooms lacked simple extra safety measures. My toddler could have easily just walked out of the room if we had not been careful. I recommend you find somewhere else to stay

The rooms are pleasant for a reasonable price, but this place has the worst lighting problem I've ever seen in any motel. Right outside your window are very bright, mostly unshielded lights, and they keep your room lit up all night. The windows have no curtains, only wooden blinds that don't shut out the light. Even after I stuffed towels into the blinds, the room was still too bright. Management should either get curtains or light fixtures with better sheilding.

Great pool, hot tub, staff, and super clean. Easy room access and Price provides access to a lot of off the beaten path treasures. We have stayed here twice now and both times were very good. Plus you can’t beat the price for what you get. A real value. And there is a neat 4-cup coffee maker in the room.

My husband and I stayed at the Greenwell Inn and were treated horribly today! The maid came to our door at 11:10 am she was very hostile and rude she insisted we didn’t have a later checkout for 11:30 (witch we did ) so we had to leave right now so we told her she was wrong we had an 11:30 checkout and shut the door. She came back pounding on the door like the police and said we didn’t have a late checkout and we were to leave now!! we obviously said no we are not and shut the door. she again ponded on the door didn’t even let us open the door barged in the room swung the door open put her foot up against the door so we couldn’t shut it yelling that we had to leave now she was calling us liars and how dare we argue with an 18 year old!!! For being 18 this girl had no common sense whatsoever!! my husband and I have never been treated so bad at a hotel in our lives and we travel a lot! so fair warning the Greenwell inn is not a good place to stay the rooms were disgusting and the service is horrible.

I typically visit price, Utah every month for drill. Often I would stay at Greenwell Inn. Typically I do not have many problems with them, they are definitely not the friendliest most customer service oriented staff... but they have essentially left me alone so it worked out. I have been disabled since 2018 and I have a therapy dog that joins me when I travel to Price. I have always traveled with my therapy dogs as it has been very necessary. This last time that I stayed at the Greenwell, I woke up with significant difficulty and I am fully aware that I am at fault for the initial incident. I could not move for quire some time, I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and that morning was extremely difficult to get moving. My poor dog had to go potty and I just could not get up for some time. My dog had a little accident, and I think it is important to mention my dog is under 3lbs so we are not talking a large mess. I thought I had cleaned it up but I guess I missed it. This is definitely my fault. The hotel charged me $100 for damages which I felt was a bit extreme but fine. When I called to speak with the manager to find out what the "damages" were, I spoke with Gina who was immediately irritated way more than the woman should have been. I really was not going to dispute it and all I could figure is that my dog had gone potty and that is what it was for but I wanted to confirm of course. Gina seemed to be personally invested in this situation because she was emotional from the moment I said hello. I guess I disrupted her life for calling in that day. She explained the "damages" and was very rude about it, maybe she had to clean up the mess from a 2.5lb dog and that is why this was so extreme to her??? Either way, I understood, I did not even tell her that I thought the fee was a bit much because Gina was clearly having a really really rough day or just really really hates her life. I made the mistake of asking one question before hanging up on the call. She had been so ignorant throughout the call that I really got the impression that there is a no dog policy even on therapy dogs, i got the impression that Gina hates dogs and people so I should not have asked but I did.... I said that I usually stay there, had never had this issue before but just to confirm " You do accept therapy dogs, correct?" Literally I could not have asked a more offensive question and just when I thought that I had already met the shining disposition of Gina the Greenwell Inn Dictator, I was wrong. She began listing off the required documents to have a therapy dog at her hotel. I say listing but she was basically screaming. Apparentely, if you are disabled and need to take your therapy dog, Gina and the Owner requires medical documentation stating what your medical issue is and that you must have a therapy dog as well as licensing for the therapy dog. Nevermind that therapy dogs do NOT have to be licensed AND it is against the LAW to require medical information from any disab

For the last several years my husband and I have spent one weekend a month in Price for drill with the Utah National Guard. There are basically two hotels there that we go back and forth on, but we have spent a fair amount of time at the Greenwell. For the most part we have had an average experience, generally a two night stay and the hotel has been acceptable. Never exceptional but acceptable. The staff has never been super friendly but will say hello if you do or smile if you do. Other than that, they will simply walk on by. If asked a question, they will answer, and it generally feels as though they are somewhat put out by answering. We remind ourselves it is only two nights, and we really have no need to see them or talk to them. We like the access to the restaurants from the Greenwell Inn and the location of the hotel. So, the staff is generally an issue we can ignore. The last time I stayed was February 3rd and that will for sure be the last time. It has taken me a few days to write this review because I am still so upset that I had to take time to calm down and speak with my attorney. After leaving the hotel we found that we were charged $100.00 for "damages". This has never happened before, so we reached out to the hotel for clarification. My husband called a few times and they said that they would look into it and the manager, Gina, would give him a call back. That call was not received but I did reach her on Thursday 2/16/23. When I called, I said something about my husband calling previously and I said I believe he spoke to you or was supposed to speak to you, and she immediately became aggressive and defensive. She began to dispute that he had spoken to her and was very adamant about this. I did not know for sure that he had spoken to her, so I said that I was not sure he had spoken to her or was supposed to. My call had nothing to do with "if" my husband spoke to her or not. I did not want that to be the focal point, Gina was reluctantly able to move on once I was able to make it clear that I did not know for sure that he had spoken to her. We moved on from that and I brought up the "damages" and asked for clarification on the charge and what the "damages" were. There was an issue. I have a 3lb therapy/service dog. The dog serves as notification for me if I am losing strength in my legs and I have to sit down or I will fall down. As well as other notifications. That morning, while getting ready to leave, my dog notified me to sit down, I was unable to get up for quite some time. I was unable to take my dog out and he held it for as long as he could. Apparently, he had an accident on the bed. Completely my fault. I accepted responsibility and did not dispute the $100.00 for "damages" although I think it is a bit extreme. She had an attitude the entre time explaining the issue and was combative from the very beginning. I had her on Bluetooth in the car and a few people with me

We came through town and checked out this hotel but when they refused to allow us to see a room first it was a red flag warning to avoid this hotel. There must be a major problem which made them refuse us checking it out first. I have never been refused that option anywhere else before.
