A beautiful comfortable lodge in the city yet feeling like you are in a small village. Quiet nights after lazy days in or around one of two swimming pools. The team is warm, kind, hospitable, and flexible. We were a family group and they accommodated our varying room combinations as requested. Over and above the self-catering options in some of the bigger units, there are two communal kitchens stocked with ample equipment. Gas stoves, braaing facilities, and working ovens. The location is great. Just off the main streets of Hatfield that connect you to the N1. Hatfield has all major shops, restaurants, and cafes. The university is of course also around the corner. Brooklyn is also a skip away. Refreshingly it is on the quiet side and it feels more as if you are in a small town. Breakfast was provided. The selection is basic and ample: cereals, yogurts, fruits, bread, freshly baked scones, sausages, eggs made to order, bacon, tea, instant coffee, and fruit juice. There is free wifi throughout the facility and it worked well. We would definitely visit again.
