Numa I Poise Rooms & Apartments

Good place and well interior design. The apartments are located near the center, well suited for street walkers. We had a large and spacious room, it was as comfortable as possible. I wanted to visit other hotels of this brand. my wife really liked it

We'd stayed at the Numa property in Oslo and it was excellent so we were excited to stay with Numa again. Unfortunately the accommodation at Poise was the other end of the scale. While it didn't have either a microwave or a toaster, which seemed strange for a property longer term visitors would use, and I had to complain to get fresh towels as the essentials closet was often not stocked, the biggest issue was the bathroom - which stank. It was so bad, that I got sick a couple of times during our eight nights, and almost feared using it in the end. My partner and I at first thought it was something we were doing but we came to realise it was the bathroom itself, one would suspect it was faulty piping that hadn't been cleaned out. What made it all the more irritating after we left is that I found other reviews, some going back six months or longer, highlighting the same problem, yet Numa had clearly done nothing about it. Which kinda vindicated us not bothering to complain to them at the time, we didn't really want a stranger coming into the apartment amongst all of our stuff but, as it turned out, even if we had complained, they wouldn't have done anything anyway!! And ultimately we shouldn't have been put in that position anyway: if you pay a premium price, you expect a premium experience!! We are going to Madrid and Seville in March and I had looked up Numa properties in those cites based on our experience in Norway. I'm not sure we will stay with them now, given they have clearly ignored the complaints in Prague. I'm not sure I can trust them.

Great location in the heart of Prague a 10-15 min walk from Charles Bridge and about a 20 minute walk to the venicular to get up to the viewing area and a nice walk to the Castle. Great room on the 7th floor with a balcony overlooking the street, nice bathroom with a great shower and a couple of freebies in the fridge and coffee machine. Nice stay will stay in a NUMA building again.

I really like the Numa concept and have stayed at 3 different properties. While the location is great, beware parking, comfort and safety issues at Poise. They tell you there is plenty parking on the street, which is NOT true. The garage they suggest told us they don’t do overnight. It took us an hour of stressful circling the area to find a garage. We found Prague Central Parking which is a couple blocks from the hotel. Make reservations in advance! Our room was nice but there was no remote for the air conditioner and we were told “sorry.” We could turn it on but couldn’t set the temp. ( There are no instructions on heating/cooling.). Easy to document online! Lastly, there is a glass door after you enter/depart the outside entrance. Our 12-yr old granddaughter ran into it and cut her eyebrow. I sent a picture and said it was dangerous and needed decals, etc. No response from Numa. Just a half-baked sorry. They could easily remove the glass door since it doesn’t serve a purpose. This was the worst property of our Numa Stays. Management could easily address them and make it better.

We really enjoy our stay here! The location is top, and we really enjoy the uncomplicated check in process (specially after a long day of travelling the last thing you need is to fill out check in forms in a reception) Also like the cozy apartment feeling ! Different than a regular hotel. I would 100% repeat here ! (:

Most terrible stay I’ve ever experienced. Heat was crazy warm, unable to adjust with regular buttons. We had to contact customer service to be advices to move a brick on the floor and turn heating off. Breakfast delivery knocked at our door 07.10, again after we complained they stopped doing that. Though I can’t even imagine how someone even would consider doing such a thing - specially during holidays. Bathroom smelled from the pipes and also from urine, as I was tired of the role as janitor I simply didn’t report. And customer service ask me “why”… Support seems unwilling to compensate, I don’t think the problems are solved when we need to do things ourselves. And yet again, WHY do they even occur in the first place? STAY AWAY!

È stato un piacevolissimo soggiorno. Posizione perfetta per visitare Praga a piedi, a pochi minuti da quasi tutto. Direttamente collegato all’aeroporto con i mezzi pubblici, Stanza molto comoda, spaziosa e ben arredata, letto comodo, bagno nuovo. Angolo bar con birra, cola e bevande calde. Semplice check-in/check-out automatizzato senza chiavi ma con codice di accesso. Disponibile deposito bagagli. Unico neo, si sentono abbastanza i rumori esterni, vengono forniti tappi per le orecchie. Io non li ho usati e non sono stato infastidito. Soggiornerei volentieri in altri hotel della stessa catena.
