Hotel Pastura

We'd booked two rooms here and on arrival were told we'd been 'upgraded' to a (less expensive and very tired) one bed apartment with an uncomfortable sofa bed in the sitting room. Unfortunately the hotel kitchen seemed to vent its fumes into the bathroom too. We made clear the arrangement wasn't acceptable for our party and requested that the original booking was honoured. This it seemed was not possible. Initially we were offered free dinner on both nights but on requesting that we be moved the following night to two rooms, a further call to the manager yielded the surprise that the Hotel View across the road, would accommodate us instead. This was super - the best outcome. A new, modern option which was infinitely preferable..

This is a fantastic hotel with first rate customer service. The rooms are spacious with scenic views of the village and water. Breakfast was excellent. After having left some items behind, the staff was very helpful in facilitating shipping to the US. Highly recommend Hotel Postura.

Postira in the island of Brac is nothing I really would recommend, the "nightlife" ends at 10.30PM (even on Fridays & Saturdays) and this is definitely not a place for people under 40 to be. Very few restaurants, no tourist shops, only 2 tiny supermarkets etc. Anyway, to the hotel now. After booking our tickets the description was that our small apartment/hotell room would have a Seaview from the balcony, which it did not. Hotel room smells really really bad and it was even raining inside from under the door so we had to put towels to stop the water flow. The room was dirty and felt abandoned from care, the walls and the curtains had weird stains, the freezer door was broken, so was the trashcan in the bathroom and the shower mount. The housekeeping came every 3 days which is enough but did not ever change the bedsheets. Half renovated room, so half was relatively new and the other half that "the didn't feel like they needed to replace or fix". Now to the facilities. This gym is the worst gym I have ever seen, even for hotel standards. A tiny room with what felt like no ventilation, no music, and what seemed as it hadn't been cleaned for a very very long period. 1 machine for abs, 2 bikes, 1 leg extension, 1 pec fly, 1 lat pulldown, 1 bench, I was really really disappointed on the gym. The pool was pretty much as shown in the pictures, nothing exclusive. But then again, no music and pleasant environment. The hotel from the outside isn't like the pictures show, it has rusted metal bars and some mold in some places. We never ate any meal at the hotel so in this matter I cannot comment. What I know is that we were here for a week total, and from sunrise to sunset we travelled to Bol. Journey approx. 1hr but fully worth it, AMAZING beach and a lot more people movement. Strongly recommend Bol, and really not Postira.

Young unfriendly girls work at the reception. On the very first day, they moved us back to Supetar because they didn't have any free rooms, even though we had already booked through the agency in January 2022! The first night we had to go to a hotel in Supetar, the same thing happened to several other Slovenian families. The whole of Postira goes to the pool and it is full. The beach is too small and rocky. When buying drinks and ice cream on the account of the room, you usually don't get a bill at all, you don't need to sign anything. We are not coming back to this hotel!

We loved this lovely hotel with the most amazing views. The service was impeccable and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location is the best part. It is in walking distance to the Supermarket and nice restaurants. We cannot wait to return.

Hotel 4 * a revoir un 2* serait mérité pas plus, antipathique, personnelle pas serviables, rien n'est prévu sur place, transats et parasol payant, chef de salle méprisant aux étrangers, même la caraf d'eau citronnée au repas est fermée, il faut aller à l'hôtel view pour en avoir dans le hall d'entrée, une honte...
