Portsmouth Port Solent

I stayed on the Premier Inn “Port Solent” which is just off the motorway but far enough away for it not to hear it. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. The bedroom windows are screwed closed even on the second floor so there is no air flow at all. To note it’s a taxi ride away from the restaurants / shops at Portsolent (£6) and parking is £3.

This Premier Inn was absolutely great. Our party of 3 senior couples booked last minute when another hotel chain let us down. We arrived at a very busy time, but the clerk was thorough and didn't get rattled. We found our rooms excellent, clean, quiet and very comfortable. We went down for a buffet breakfast which was all managed by a cheerful and very hardworking woman named Susie who made our day! We found the food to be great also. I made a decision then to only book with P. Inns on future visits and forget the cheaper chain.

We recently stayed at the Premier Inn in Portsmouth (Port Solent) and were genuinely impressed by the exceptional service from the entire team, particularly Julie and Alan. Julie deserves special recognition. Warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, she made every interaction feel personal. Nothing was too much trouble, she ensured our meals were served promptly, exactly as expected, with a level of care that’s rare to find. Julie consistently went above and beyond, and it’s clear she takes great pride in delivering outstanding guest service. Premier Inn is very lucky to have her. Alan was equally fantastic. From the bar, he brought energy, efficiency, and a friendly presence that added real warmth to our evenings. Alongside a brilliant colleague who checked us in initially to also checking in during our meal service. Together they helped create an atmosphere that was both relaxed and engaging. Together, Julie and her colleagues make an exceptional team. They struck the perfect balance between professionalism and personality, making us feel welcome and looked after from start to finish. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-run, but it was the people who truly made our stay memorable. We’ll absolutely return. Well done to the whole team at Premier Inn Port Solent!

Lovely premier inn in port solent, central to all amenities and not far from Portsmouth and Southampton. Staff are very friendly especially Julie in the restaurant. Great food and value for money with the meal deal of evening meal and breakfast £27. Rooms are either newly refurbed or a new building. Our room was on the road which was a bit noisy but not a major issue.

Julie in the restaurant was amazing, and very attentive. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, the children were delighted with the choice of meal and having a three course dinner. Our dinner was lovely and Julie the waitress was very attentive to all our needs.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn in Port Solent with my other half and the experience was nothing short of fabulous. I have stayed in plenty of Premier Inns and this one is no doubt the best! The rooms are clean and well presented, and the staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was great as well - the food was delicious! Suzy especially made this stay memorable. She is a delight and a true credit to the team 😊 I would definitely recommend staying here.
