Portrush is situated along the Atlantic coast, close to many of the main tourist sites. And Elephant Rock is a fantastic place to base yourself drifting your stay. The hotel is modern, with a beautifully boutique design. The staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast is substantial consisting of a continental breakfast (bread, granola, yogurt), a hot breakfast (Ulster fry, eggs, salmon), and bottomless coffee. The bedrooms are compact and clean with Nespresso machine. The menu for evening meals is delicious.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly, the room quite comfortable, and the restaurant food was delicious. We were especially impressed by the absolutely huge breakfast that was available as part of the bed and breakfast package. I don't know how anyone could eat a whole breakfast as it was offered to us! The location was also excellent with easy access to walking along the beach and coastline as well as to the shops and other restaurants in town.

I have just returned from a two night stay at the elephant Rock Hotel with a friend. From start to finish we had an amazing time. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds, temperature of the room was perfect and the shower was great. We had dinner included in our package and our meal was very good. We both enjoyed it very much. The cocktails are amazing!! The best we had in Portrush during our stay. And the home-made shortbread was delicious!!! Breakfast was great as well, lovely choices, well cooked and presented. And as for the staff, each and every one of them were fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and when we mentioned how much we enjoyed the shortbread, Sean was so good to bring some extra up to our room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return.

I stayed at Elephant Rock Hotel in December for a weekend away, and it was absolutely fantastic. The room was beautifully decorated with every feature you could want, including a great coffee machine, high-quality toiletries, and the most comfortable bed and bedding I’ve experienced. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help, ensuring every part of my stay was seamless. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, both during the evening and at breakfast. Every dish was prepared to an exceptionally high standard, and it really stood out as a highlight of the trip. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing and luxurious weekend getaway.

Stayed in Elephant Rock for the Rock Reset experience and had a fabulous time. Following check in we met the other participants and got to know each other over a really tasty light lunch. The satay chicken was delicious. The bus then took us to Bienvenagh and we enjoyed a hike to the top of the mountain with regular stops to appreciate the wonderful views. Hike completed we returned by bus to the hotel and had time for a shower before meeting up again for dinner. I really enjoyed the cauliflower starter and the salmon main course was delicious. We were then treated to a talk on sleep and a wonderful relaxing meditation. The next morning we all set off on foot to walk the short distance to the sandy beach and thoroughly enjoyed a dip in the ocean which was a new experience for me but one which I will definitely repeat as I felt amazing after it. The whole experience was well organised by Charlotte, accommodation was cosy and quirky and the food of a very high standard. I would highly recommend this experience. Well done and thank you Charlotte 👏 🙏

I know I've said some pretty bad breakfast comments but on a plus note the lady that served us was lovely and professional. Unfortunately it was all served to table and even though she brought all to us there wasn't enough room for it all even though it was a table for 2 people. The room itself was lovely and clean with stunning views of the sea. Shower hot then cold and so on. Unfortunately won't be back. If so. Room only.

We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary in one of our favourite towns. The hotel is amazing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable the bathroom is massive. The food at breakfast was amazing with Vangee going above and beyond to ensure we were well fed and watered. The dinner service was top notch special shout out to Rebecca for the craic and persuading me to have a wee night cap after dinner. We cannot wait to return again

Have returned to Elephant Rock for two nights to celebrate 55 years of marriage. We find this hotel a great place to relax, with great food served by friendly efficent staff. Recommend a room with great sea views. Hotel is on the North Coast of Northern Ireland surrounded by beautiful coastal sea views and one of the best Golf courses in the world, Royal Portrush, hist if the 2025 Open Championship.

We stayed overnight and the next morning I took the cotton bag which they kept bathrobe in to put my dirty laundry in to take home. When we got home the hotel contacted us to say that unless we returned the bag they will charge us £15 despite us telling them that we spent £320 for b&b and £360 for dinner there with friends. The meal was not great either for the price as chicken ravioli was bland, duck was not pink etc. Seriously what did they think I wanted cotton bag for? Staff there obviously has no long term vision to keep customers happy
