We were staying in the small chalet in the rear grounds while our friends stayed in the house itself. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The chalet was spotless and lovely and warm with good facilities. My only criticism of the room was the shower room / toilet room was a little on the small side...the plus side was the shower was beautifully hot with great pressure. Very comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast each morning. A pleasant 10 /15 min stroll into town for evening meals & drinks...The only downside here was the cost per night (both chalet & room) was a lot more expensive than the other guest houses we were staying in during this trip and they were all of a similar standard so we felt this one was a little dear. Couldnt fault it otherwise though.

Why was my review removed from your website. Did the owner make you remove it? Something is not right. I was truthful when making my opinion about my stay which you published then within a few days it was removed. I was not happy about the owner taking our dirty damp towels off the floor and hanging back for us to use again. He then told us that they do not change the towels daily.

First the positives - it's very, very clean! 10 minute walk to the centre. However, I am surprised at people saying what a great experience they had because there is no experience here in this B and B. There is no Highland welcome here, in fact minimal dialogue with the proprietor. Keys given, breakfast hour stated, end of. There is nowhere to' take a load off' at the end of a day exploring the wonderful Skye, no guest lounge or communal area just your hard sofa in the room. Absolutely no eating in the room other than the complimentary biscuit provided. Basically you go there to sleep. It's a business pure and simple. Breakfast is a self service, 8 til 9, but don't get there near the end of that or you'll only get what's left. Do yourself a favour go somewhere authentic and get a real taste of highland hospitality.

Two nights at this newly restored inn. Everything seemed brand new and the kitchen was just perfectly designed for a BNB. Breakfast was a full cooked delight. The only minor issue was the room was a bit warm with only a minor opening of the windows, so we slept on the covers. It was an abnormally hot day/evening. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to town, but a pleasant stroll.

Such a nice little BnB a short walk from the center of Portree ,away from the tourist bustle. It was spotless comfortable and quiet. The shower was hot and had good water pressure, and the bed was super comfy, I slept really well. The breakfast were great, with gluten free options and lots to choose from. Pauline and Jim were such amazing hosts, so kind and helpful, they really were ambassadors to the Isle of Skye. The rates were quite good for what you get in Portree. Plenty of parking.

Clean, modern room was a perfect stay for exploring is Isle of Skye! Very close to many popular hikes/views. Amazing hospitality with a home cooked breakfast to start the day!! Also a quick drive or moderate walk to downtown Portree, which has a good amount of restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Isle of Skye.
