¡Excelente calidad! El agua de la piscina cubierta podría estar más caliente, al igual que el agua de la ducha. Para un hotel de 5 estrellas es necesario acertar con estos “detalles”. El servicio fue excelente y la gente fue extremadamente servicial y atenta. El restaurante Lush es muy bueno!!! Comimos los tortellini de calamares, cerdo y champiñones, todo riquísimo, muy bien preparado y ¡nos trató muy bien Márcia!

The pre-arrival assistance I received from Pedro Marques was absolutely incredible! He made sure we got the best table with the best views at the best restaurants in town! He patiently answered my endless questions and ensured our Porto visit was flawless! It's honestly worth booking a room at this hotel just to get his trip planning support! We were happy with our room, our river view, and housekeeping did an excellent job during our 5N stay. Breakfast was tasty and we looked forward to interacting with the friendly breakfast staff who made us delicious cappuccinos every morning! Danielle also helped us throughout our stay and responded to requests immediately. When my husband came down with food poisoning after eating a bad pastry purchased off-site, Pedro and Danielle kindly sent up a tray of fruit and sparkling water to help settle his stomach. Pedro told me about a pharmacy open 24/7 and checked in with my husband throughout the day. Highly recommend this hotel that felt very much like an upscale boutique hotel. Especially if trip planning assistance is a priority. Just wish it was a bit closer to restaurants, shops, etc.

Had a great week here. Nice spotless room, comfy bed. Food amazing - fresh ingredients expertly cooked. So good that we didn’t go anywhere else for dinner after the first evening. Breakfast is the best we have ever experienced - a fabulous buffet selection and more. Most importantly all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They really made our holiday. The hotel is 15 to 20 mins walk from the centre of Porto, but we found that Ubers are inexpensive and seem to arrive within 3 to 4 minutes and take just 5 minutes to reach the city centre. The park 400yds away is nice to walk around and has good views. Especially at sunset. The Douro wine region is great for a day out. Lovely scenery up in the hills. The wine tasting tour we went on was very enjoyable but was more of a "booze cruise" than fine wine tasting. We liked Porto. It is a very friendly city and people are polite and helpful in the shops and cafes. Most people speak good English. Will certainly return.

Our experience at the Altis Porto was nothing short of spectacular. Having visited Porto on multiple occasions, this was our best stay to date. The riverview room with balcony gave us stunning views overlooking the river, Gaia and Porto. We ate in the restaurant every day for breakfast, and on one day for lunch & dinner. Definitely go to the restaurant for at least one evening meal. The fish was incredible and so was the steak my partner had. Good gym too!

I visited just Exuberante restaurant - not very convenient localization but wonderful place for the evening. Food was very tasty. Fabulous presentation but some were too cold (slightly warm octopus is gummy, same with chips for the perfect steak). However, tortellini with mushrooms will stay in my mind until next visit - they worth any Michelin star or better stars. Staff is professional; the sommelier so friendly and helpful; next time will pick the white one from Azores…. 😜

We really enjoyed our stay in the Altis Porto Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and is located in a very nice area overlooking the river. We stayed in a superior river view room which included a balcony, the room had everything that we needed for a very comfortable stay. We arrived late and were delighted to find a chilled bottle of prosecco waiting for us. Breakfast was excellent with the nicest omelette I have ever tasted! All of the staff went above and beyond and were always on hand with helpful advice and recommendations. We also visited the pool, jacuzzi, gym which we really enjoyed. The food in the restaurant was one of the highlights of our stay, compliments to the chef! If you are visiting Porto you need to stay here, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend, staff deserve huge credit as they really make you feel so welcome. We would love to return sometime.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the river but still away from the chaos of the tourist hub. Right next to it is the Jardens de Palacio de Cristal. Beautiful park and gardens with a very unusual museum. Easy 10 minute walk from the hotel to town center and trolley stop right outside the hotel. Buses were easy also and convenient stop right outside the Cristal Palace. The hotel is new. Very, very friendly helpful staff. Super clean and comfortable beds. Bar and restaurant excellent. We had dinner at the hotel twice. Our waiter spoke perfect English and I asked where he was from. He said “ Rhode Island “. We lived there over 30 years and he lived in the next neighborhood until he was 12. Travel all that way to meet a neighbor. The entire restaurant staff and chef are all top notch. The breakfast buffet was excellent and had plenty of gluten free options for me. If you go, you’ll meet Nelson. ❤️❤️❤️. Made our dinner experience so much fun.

We had a wonderful experience at the recently opened Altis Porto. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to suit all tastes. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered lovely views of the city and Douro River. The spa was a highlight of our stay—the jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing. Overall, Altis Porto exceeded our expectations. A fantastic option for anyone looking to enjoy a modern and welcoming hotel in Porto.
