Lovely place, decorated to give a beautiful embiance. The bar, restaurant area and the rooms all a pleasure to be in. Beds very comfy, gorgeous pillows and a proper shower. The staff are all very well trained kind, helpful and couldn't fault one of them.

Our whole stay was perfect. We requested a dog friendly room, and on arrival our four legged friend received his own little stay over pack which was lovely The beds are amazing, me and my husband both said we had the best two night sleep, this is also helped by the rooms being the perfect temperature. The room was clean, tidy and well looked after and included everything you needed for your stay. It’s also very quiet which is always good for a night sleep. Breakfast was very nice and it provided a relaxed atmosphere ready to start the day. We also had our evening meal on our first night (we visited family on the second) and all the food we had was lovely - seafood platter, steak, burgers, waffle - all very nice Also have a great selection of beer, wine and some cocktails Overall a perfect place to stay, in a perfect location. PS - the light idea in the bathroom is genius for those late night bathroom trips

We had the most wonderful long weekend on our third stay at this beautiful place. All the staff are so friendly, professional, helpful; our room was a harbour view (Kynance) and like the others we’ve stayed in was so comfortable, exceptionally clean and so beautifully decorated. Attention to detail is clear throughout. Food is excellent although more vegetarian options would be much appreciated. And to top it all each night we had adorable Reggie to cuddle. Happy Christmas to all at the Harbour Inn - you are amazing. Look forward to returning in Feb!

We stayed at The Harbour Inn for a night as we had to collect some dive gear in Helston. We knew Porthleven as we used to live nearby. We have stayed in a few other places owned by St Austell Ales and they are always great rooms and great food on offer. We knew they had taken on this pub and wanted to visit it, we weren’t disappointed, the rooms are very spacious and well equipped and we had one of the smaller rooms. The attention to detail is the same standard for all the different places we have stayed. Great toiletries, coffee etc, biscuits and it includes a breakfast which is very generous in choice. Definitely be back for a long stay.

Everything about this hotel was excellent but the only reason I've only awarded it 4/5 is that the noise from the bar and restaurant below in the room we stayed (14) was really loud in the evenings. I appreciate it's an old building and so probably not much (if any) insulation in the floor/ceiling. Staff were very warm and welcoming and service in the restaurant and bar as well as the standard of food both in the hotel and the Pizza Hut on their terrace, was very good. Would definitely stay here again but would try and get a sea view room away from the main bar area. I had brought earplugs fortunately so slept well in the ultra comfortable bed.

The Harbour Inn, Porthleven is a lovely place to eat and stay situated in the stunning Porthleven. Our first visit to Porthleven and we thoroughly enjoyed our night here, it was a pity we couldn’t stay longer however, this was a business trip rather than leisure. Arrived at 3pm Sunday afternoon, checked in and had a stroll to take in the Harbour surroundings. Returned to Harbour Inn for our evening meal. Roast Dinner was first class as was the service. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast at Harbour Inn too. Clear to see a lot of thought has gone into the recent renovations and the room was cosy and comfortable with a very nice en-suite. All staff very polite and friendly. We didn’t have the best night sleep but felt that was just us being away from home as the bed was extremely comfortable. Felt the room rate was price was very good for sun h a comfortable room with a view of the stunning harbour. Will definitely plan to return in the spring / summer for leisure rather than in connection business next time.

The most service minded staff in UK! Nothing is difficult. always a smile. We got a room despite that the hotel was fully booked. It was late, cold outside and the two old ladies had been stood up. Stay here, you will find the hotel and the staff absolutely adoring

Had the best weekend away at the harbour inn the room was spotless and beautiful, the staff were attentive and welcoming, the room was quiet and we had the best night sleep. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and we will definitely be back.

Great location, super comfy bed and pillows with lovely linen, room spacious. Nice to have Fresh milk in the fridge each day, and a kettle as well as a coffee machine. So often hotels only provide a coffee machine which is not hot enough for making tea, so a kettle is appreciated. And the coffee machine had simple instructions how to use! We did not eat dinner here but excellent breakfast. A well maintained and run hotel. We had one issue which was resolved and dealt with appropriately, so very happy.
