If you are looking for somewhere that gives customer service that is personalised and offers a memorable experience you won't get at your usual 5 star resort then this is the place for you. Leo is an amazing host, fantastic chef and really knows how to look after his guests from the minute you arrive. There's no menu at this resort because Leo customises his offerings to your taste. Looking for a seafood selection, steak, chicken, duck or maybe something vegetarian, he will prepare exactly what you like, whatever cuisine that might be. Dietary requirements are not a problem. The rooms are large, modern, very clean and well maintained. All rooms have a lovely view. The beds are as you would expect in a luxury resort giving you a cloud nine experience. The rooms have additional items you don't automatically get in most 5 star resorts which was a wow factor for me. Shaving kit and toothbrush, make-up remover are all there ready, just incase you forget. The highlight for me was the 3 course breakfast sat on the deck with the wonderful view. Leo is also a wonderful conversationalist and we enjoyed chatting to him during our stay. With only 4 rooms and adults only this really is the perfect escape to wind down. It's also nice to support a small business. Highly recommended and no surprise Leo receives great reviews.

Great location on the Hastings River. Lovey room with river views & a most gracious host. Only disappointment was we arrived on a night when the chef was not available to cook. However Leo did produce with some crackers one of the nicest pate's I have eaten. Breakfast was served overlooking the river.

A great accomodation and a lovely host. The location is perfect, and the setting is ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at Ana Mandara; it was just a one-night stay as we were driving from Sydney to Brisbane, but it was perfect. Leo, the host, was very accomodating and is also an excellent chef!

All I was after was a quiet space to relax for the beginning of my 2 week holiday. The home and room were the perfect combination of what I needed. The owner was accommodating and listen to me needs leaving me to a perfect stay in a perfect setting. I highly rate the experience and location for a stay.

We have stayed here twice in November 23, first time on the way to Byron Bay (1 night) then on the way back (2 nights)to Sydney. Very relaxing place, it’s a very short drive from town which makes everything at hand. Comfortable room, with noisy but fun birds all around the grounds. Parking is easy. We would definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Ana Mandara is set on the river with beautiful views from the common area and all of the room. We enjoyed Leo’s hospitality and chef prepared meals, both dinner and breakfast! The bed was comfortable and the in room spa bath was a perfect end to the night.

My daughter and I had an amazing overnight stay here. Leo (the owner and the chef) cooked us an amazing seafood dinner of seafood chowder, crispy skin salmon and the most delicious apple strudel for dessert, the three course gourmet breakfast the next morning was also amazing. It was such a nice relaxing experience we will definitely come back in the warmer months and stay there again. I thoroughly recommend it.

We will definitely be visiting again on our trips up and down the coast, it really breaks the long drives up and is the most restful rooms. Imaculate and comfortable rooms and the addition of a spa bath, was just so lovely. Leo and Janelle went above and beyond to make sure they could accomodate us at late notice, this was such a very last minute decision. Leo was a very generous and friendly host, even posting us our charger we left behind, before we even noticed it was missing. We will be back.
