My husband & I stayed 3 nights at the beautiful Drift House. Our room was Suite 2 on the second floor. It has a large living room that has a kitchenette, TV, fireplace & separate bedroom with full bath. It also has a balcony that is the entire length of the Suite. The bed is super comfortable. The service was lovely, but the food was exceptional. The dinner menu has a Spanish tapas theme. The croquetas, the fresh tomatoes with tomato sorbet, the pork meatballs & the fresh fish were all extraordinary….as was the cheesecake! My husband & I have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants all over the world & The Salon was as good - if not better. Hats off to Chef John! We would highly recommend.

Waw, great B&B! Lovely rooms, lots of space, bathroom is absolutely luxurious. Great location, walking distance to Port Fairy, Griffith Island, the beach. I had diner in Drift House and it was the best quality! Great experience all together.

Perfect place to stay in Port Fairy, very unique and comfortable huge room, welcoming staff. Wonderful breakfasts with local produce and we were fortunate to eat dinner here one night which was really amazing, again local produce cooked in very imaginative ways, everything was delicious. A very short walk to the centre of town.

We enjoyed our one night stay here. Port Fairy is a beautiful place & I'm so pleased we decided to stay here. Directions were very clear & we parked up & were met by Marcia on arrival. I was delighted to see that there was a bath in our suite (suite 5) as everywhere else we had stayed had a shower only. We dumped our bags & went for a walk out to the lighthouse. Later we went out for dinner. Town is a short stroll away. Our suite was comfortable but I have knocked off one point as we could hear traffic noise from the road right outside our room which was a bit annoying. Breakfast was simple, healthy & served by pleasant staff. Afterwards we strolled out for a walk along the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Port Fairy is lovely & definitely a good choice for a stop off.

Normally you worry if the hype lives up to the reality... Am very happy with the host as well as the accommodation. Clean and stylish... A suite you want to stay because it is different and also great being able to do some light cooking with the breakfast basket and the maxiBar ! Port Fairy is absolutely charming place to be based. Act and don't think anymore...

This boutique hotel, located in delightful Port Fairy, deserves all of the accolades that previous guests have given it. Our room (suite1) was located in Riverdale House, built in 1852. The owners have done an amazing job of modernising the accommodation, bringing it right up to date with a delightful eye for detail and design. The accommodation has all that one could wish for in terms of a great bed, stylish en-suite, Island bath, settee, table/chairs, tv/dvd, crockery and cooking facilities. Breakfast is provided in a very stylish annex, with a selection of lovely locally/home produced products. Gusts also have use of s couple of bicycles and a small pool. Drift House is run by a lovely couple and they deserve every success.

Drift house was an amazing place to stay, in fact the highlight from 10 hotels that we stayed at during our trip to Australia and NZ. We were greeted by super friendly host she showed us around, gave good tips for local things. We stayed at Three suite, its super spacious and comfy and has amazing courtyard with fireplace. Loved every little detail about the hotel, breakfast basked with local goodies was amazing start of the day. Great location by the beach. Amazing selection of books, magazines and dvds in room. Only thing we could have wished for is to stay longer!

We stayed in Suite 3 for 4 nights & loved it. On arrival, Colleen was very welcoming & friendly & then left us in private for our stay. We loved the 'driftwood' décor & hidden cupboards. The bed was super comfy & the little garden was an added bonus. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay & especially enjoyed the little touches in the suite. We found it to be both private & quiet. The breakfast provisions were excellent & pre-arrival we were given the opportunity to state any preferences. The maxi bar was so good - prices so reasonable - that we purchased a few items.... the beer was particularly welcome as the Grand Final was on! Colleen also helped us out in advance with a Saturday night restaurant booking. Being animal lovers we enjoyed meeting the very handsome 'Kitty' who turned up at the garden door one day wondering who had moved into her neighbourhood! Drift House is central, close to both the river & the town. We parked the car & left it there for our entire stay, enjoying walks along East Beach, Pea Soup beach, Griffiths Island, the town & around the cemetery. No need to take the car. Lots of choice of pubs & restaurants. All in all a most enjoyable stay with lovely hosts.
