So, where do I start. We have been going to Palm Beach chalets for about 8 years on and off. Was always lovely. Noticed things went downhill but still supported them. Last holiday there was March 2024. Absolutely horrible. Beds are so terrible myself and my husband slept on the single beds, as the double bed mattress is so warn out. Constant noise as the owner never informed us she sold the other half where the kids used to play. So they were building. Constant builders overlooking the pool and where you braai so no privacy. Then.... She was running specials for March. She however charged us full price. We overpaid with more than R4000. When I brought it up, she apologized and said she never realized the mattress was so bad. They were replaced 6 months ago?? But you almost sleep on the floor? I was eventually told she will repay us over almost 8 months, for what she overcharged. We received R500 in August and was then blocked on watsapp and never received any other money.
