We absolutely loved our stay here. Amanda and Peter were more than helpful and the loveliest couple you could wish to meet. Accommodation was very good and clean with everything you could ever need. The pool area was beautiful and enticing. Shops and beach were just 5 minutes away up the road. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

From the first contact with Amanda and Peter I knew I was on to a winner.Nothing was too much trouble, from squeezing us in at the last minute to organising our airport transfers, early checkin, late checkout and booking our tours.The accommodation itself was wonderful, clean, quiet and had all the amenities we needed for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. The pool and bbq area was beautiful and I often had it to myself. It was only a 10 minute walk to all the shops, restaurants and supermarket and we particularly enjoyed being a bit away from the hustle and bustle.

What a wonderful stay. We spent 18nights at the Outrigger and I must say it was the best stay we’ve had in all the years we’ve been coming to Port Douglas. Peter and Amanda are lovely and kind, we looked forward to our daily chats with them. The accommodation itself was spotless and very well equipped. We will definitely be staying there again.

We stayed at Outriggers for 8 nights. During the booking process we had great communication from Amanda & Peter. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome. The apartment met our expectations, fresh, clean and comfortable. Great location, only a short walk to the town, marina & beach. Amanda supported us with booking our trips which were seamless. We highly recommend the great barrier reef. Their expert knowledge helped us enjoy the best of Port Douglas. Perfect hosts, nothing was too much for them and they want all guests to have a great time. Highly recommend Outriggers! Fran & Sue

Amanda and Peter are such lovely hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they would always chat and offer help and recommendations when required. Accommodation well located and within easy walking distance of town and beach. Pool is absolutely lovely to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you both. If I make it back to Australia I will be sure to come back!

We loved it there. Amanda and her husband were extremely accommodating and helpful. They arranged our river cruise with Lady Douglas which was amazing. Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable. It was close to the marina, main beach, shops. We will definitely go back there!

Our family has just returned from yet another relaxing a 2 week stay at the Outrigger. It is perfectly located in a lovely quiet location, yet is less than a 10 minute walk to Four Mile Beach, the Marina and to Macrossan St. It goes without saying that Port Douglas is a great place to base yourself when heading out to explore the Daintree and Atherton Tablelands. The whole complex, as usual, was well maintained and our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, bright, clean & very well equipped. There was a full size kitchen and bathroom (including a washer). There is also under cover parking available for guests. The Outrigger is a must stay location for families visiting Port. Our hosts, Peter and Amanda, were extremely friendly and welcoming and gave excellent advice on local attractions & on what was happening around town. Of course, they assisted in organising our transfers to and from Cairns which is a big plus for us. Like ourselves, it is no surprise to find that many of the guests are regulars, who return time and time again. This is a true testament of how well Peter and Amanda look after their guests, their attention to detail and how well they look after the Outrigger, it's grounds and facilities overall. We cannot thank them enough! It goes without saying that when next up in Port, we’ll again, be staying at the Outrigger. A real home away from home.

First time in Port Douglas and the Outrigger was an excellent place to stay to experience this fabulous destination. Stayed for 1 week and Amanda and Peter are friendly and welcoming hosts. The unit we stayed in was clean and well equipped. Clean pool and only 5 minutes walking to main street of cafes and amenities. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Port Douglas

We absolutely loved our family break to Port Douglas staying at the Outrigger. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Amanda and Peter are the perfect hosts, they could not do enough to help us. They booked all our transfers from the airport and trips. All were fantastic. The pool was great and Amanda even appeared with toys for the girls to use during our stay. It is close to everything, the marina, the beach and all restaurants. The recommendation of the Tin Shed was great for a meal and drinks, it was just a shame it was a bit too cloudy for the sunset although the setting was lovely. We stayed in one of the penthouses which had everything we needed for our stay, all very well equipped. Thank you again Amanda and Peter it was such a pleasure to meet you and we hope to be back to see you in the future. Anthony, Louise, Emily and Scarlett xx
