All Nations Guest House

We were a family of 19 who stayed between may 21 to 23, we had the entire villa and it was awesome. The facilities were perfect, lovely rooms and surroundings. Lots of Julie Mangos to eat, the staff were absolutely brilliant. We recommend All Nation All the time

A clean environment awaits you with a friendly staff and a great chef. To top it off Julie mangoes are just casually laying in wait for you to devour or one of the staff will pick them for you. You won't be disappointed, do yourself a favor, you deserve it. The no shoes policy actually leaves you feeling quite grounded, book your stay today. Thank me later.

On arrival we were met by Nas who was friendly and informative. We were given a tour of the building and directed to our room. This was at the side of reception which contained a large bed.Our room had been described as suitable for 3. We had already requested another bed to be put in the room at time of booking. (We were 2 females). This request had not been met and after consultation with the manager he agreed to put 2nd bed in the room at an extra cost of 30 $ per night. We told the manager we would just share as this was excessive. After further discussion the Manager agreed to reduce the fee then later waivered it. The bed was put in the room while we sat at the pool. We had decided after viewing both the breakfast and evening meal menu we would just go self catering. We had been told where the second kitchen was but this was up many stairs so we used the main kitchen. (In bare feet) ?? There was plenty of hot water for showering which was great and we found the manager very proactive on the first day. The room was acceptably clean. Day two in the evening we were met my different staff and this changed our perception completely. Staff basically did not care about guests. They chatted amongst themselves in front of guests about a previous employee which we later found out had been the lovely lady called Nas who has now left. It was obvious to us this was the most professional member of staff and the only one who showed interest in the guests. We observed a Spanish speaking lady trying to ask the waiter for something as part of her breakfast and not only his body language but also he was very dismissive as he could not understand what she was asking. Although staff use their personal phones 24/7 not once did he try to use google translate. In the evening, after we had been out the security staff just raised his eyes from his tablet ( watching what looked like a film) and grunted when we said good evening then went back to watching his tablet. We also noticed the floors are very dirty and towels put on the floor for guests to wipe their feet on were filthy despite having a policy of no shoe wearing indoors. (It was felt you should wipe your feet on way out rather than on the way in). A suggestion would be that all staff need training on customer care and maybe draw up a cleaning rota instead of staff just sitting around on their phones/tablets. More sockets in bedroom. At breakfast on day 4, our last day we sat at a table outside which hadnt been cleared but this was the only available table outside. The table inside had a member of staff sitting at it and was laughing and joking with the reception person. Both were oblivious until we had almost finished our food that we were even there. The waiter then appeared to clear the previous persons plates, and by this time there was already ants on the table. As the waiter was clearing the plates his phone was ringing in his back pocket. The room was clean and comfortable, i like the fact that we weren't allowed to wear outside shoes inside. It was a pleasurable stay and i would definitely go back. The kitchen was fully equipped. We made our own food. The pool was warm and inviting.

The place was warm and homely. It's a quiet, relaxing and peaceful environment. It was my second time there and it was well worth it. The owner and staffs were pleasant and kind. I would recommend this guesthouse if you're going to Portland and looking a home away from home to stay.

Definitely a nice space, it was clean and cozy. The lady at the desk Nastasia (forgive my spelling) was extremely helpful and accommodating thank you for your great service! I also like the no shoes indoors touch, rooms and bathroom were clean. I would stay again when in Portland.

The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful. The staff is also really friendly especially the receptionist, Nas. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. We also loved the fact that we had the option to cook our own food or use the chef on property. We will return on our next trip to Portland.

Had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was niceeeee. Big up the chef. Definitely would stay again. Staff was warm and friendly. We stayed for two days and had no complaints. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice quite place to stay.
