"I decided to write a review as prior to going I was puzzled why there were hardly any recent ones. That I believe is simply to do with the fact that English tourists are definitely in the minority. It is mainly, German, Slovenian and various others. This did not impact negatively on our holiday at all. All reception and entertainment staff can speak English. We arrived around lunchtime and were not able to check in until around 2.30pm so retrieved shorts from our case and got changed in the toilets and went for food and a cold beer to pass time. Prepare a quick change easily accessible if you arrive early. All facilities are immaculately clean. Accommodation review will not apply to many as we were located in Villa Antonia which is the central yellow building highlighted in many of the pictures. I believe there are only 3 apartments in the villa. In keeping with the look and authenticity of the villa these are furnished in an old but beautiful style. Carpeted, large wooden wardrobes, sitting room kitchen and the most magnificent grand balcony. I imagine other apartments will be modern. We had aircon. Kitchen was very small but fine for light snacks. Noticeable observations; it would be nice to have a few more hangers and a couple of trouser ones; We never saw our maid but our bins were emptied regularly and we were supplied with more towels than we could use. The towels were placed on our sofa along with bedding and realised that the maid doesn't clean the room or change the bed during your stay but you can change it yourself. I like to keep things tidy wherever I go so it was fine and not intrusive; This is only applicable to Villa Antonia, it has the most spectacular and huge balcony to the rear, amazing views, it's stunning BUT this balcony is shared with the apartment next door. We were fortunate to have two lots of good neighbours although we rarely crossed paths and could communicate. The day before we left a family we could not communicate with arrived and one morning I was about to go on the balcony when I noticed our neighbour doing her yoga so I preferred to give her space as would have felt intrusive. The balcony is so big it could easily have a sympathetic divider, some tall potted plants or trellis. The entire area is beautiful, clean and lovely. Yes, there are steps, find the more direct route to Porec instead of the coastal route if you are walking it cuts a good 10-15 mins off. Several restaurants within easy walking distance, loads in Porec which is wonderful. It is an early closing area, no late night drinking parties. We had an evening in Porec and arrived back around midnight and the bar and everywhere is closed up. If you want late nights just go to the town. There is security you feel very safe. No rush for sunbeds and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this property if you enjoy having a walk or bike ride. You enjoy a few drinks and food it's perfect."

"Primera vez en Croacia y no nos decepcionó. Excelente ubicación, hotel magnífico, muy verde rodeado de árboles y preciosas bahías. Un trenecito te lleva a través del bosque hasta Porec, un agradable viaje de 10 minutos, los horarios están en recepción, pero también es un paseo muy agradable. Nuestras habitaciones estaban muy limpias😀 Yo tenía una habitación doble con vistas al jardín y mi amiga tenía una doble en la parte delantera del hotel. Nos sorprendió lo tranquilo que estaba el hotel y los alrededores, supongo que aún no ha empezado la temporada alta. El entretenimiento estaba bien, ¡pero el mismo grupo todas las noches! 😴😴 un poco aburrido para nosotros. El personal fue excelente en todo el hotel. Recepción, bares y restaurante. La comida… bueno, había una gran variedad… en el desayuno y la cena… mucho para elegir, refrescos, vino y cerveza gratis con la cena. ***El único inconveniente para mí fue que no había comida vegetariana. Tengo que tener cuidado con la nata y la leche. Había leche de soja, pero no yogures, helados ni platos veganos 🤔. El etiquetado de los platos no era claro *** Pregunté al chef sobre algunos platos, pero no pude pedirlos. El personal recogió las mesas rápidamente. La limpieza en todo el hotel fue impecable."

"En general, la estancia fue muy agradable. Dejando el baño poco limpio a nuestra llegada,pero puede suceder, aviso de evitar las habitaciones vista del mar en el sentido de que, siendo rodeado por un bosque de mar y vista tienes muy poco. Las habitaciones tienen decoración retro pero son funcionales aunque el desagüe del baño es ruido. El restaurante de bufete es variado y bueno, hemos comido bien.un punto negativo no para las bebidas a pago, sino porque hacer que cuestan una botella de agua natural de 0,75l de € 4,60 es exagerado. Piscina no muy grande pero guapa. Parada del tren cercano que te lleva a Parenzo por 4 euros (adulto) en trato."

"Elegí el divertido apartamento Lanterna por segunda vez. Nos lo pasamos bien, el complejo es amplio, bien ventilado por los bosques de pinos, limpio, ordenado, tranquilo, personal amable y servicial, hermoso mar, restaurantes de buena calidad. Los apartamentos merecen más atención en cuanto a mantenimiento, pero son espaciosos y acogedores. Volveremos y lo recomendaremos."

"El hotel está situado muy lejos del centro, al mar también es necesario pasar 350-400 metros. No hay playa como tal en el hotel. La comida no es demasiado variada. Las habitaciones están cansadas."
