Cabot Las Velas Apartments

This is a really lovely hotel apartment in a quiet, out the way area. Heaven! There are shops a short walk from the apartments, the beautiful beach, bars and restaurants. It was so quiet an clean! All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. Our room was a deluxe studio. You can’t hear much noise like in others hotels which is great. This was our first time self catering and we’ve loved it. There are 2 pools, they are cold this time of year lol but refreshing on hot days. All the pairs of beds have umbrellas screwed into the floor, so you always have one. This time of year it’s a lot quieter, there have been days we’ve had the pool to ourselves. The beach is beautiful, soft golden sand and crystal clear waters. We will deffo be back! We have really loved our first trip to pureto de Pollensa! The buses are regular and easy to use with tap on tap off. The buses stops are a short distance away. Perfect get away! (Note: If taking a trip into Pollensa to do the 365 Calvari steps, be mindful to stick to tourist areas an keep your belongings safe! My wife had her phone lifted out of her backpack, and I caught him going in for her purse! Got her phone back. Be mindful of pick pockets)

Thanks Xisco for the warm welcome to the accommodation. We stayed for a few days with friends and had a wonderful stay. The apartments were immaculate, comfortable, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The location was very good. Just a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. We will definitely stay again and cannot praise the apartments and Xisco enough.

I’m just back from Las Velas apartments and have a mixed review! I paid a lot of money to upgrade to the deluxe apartment as shown in the brochure. It looks quite large both in the bedroom area and the living area, this wasn’t the case. There was no drawer space in the bedroom for underwear etc, these all had to stay in my suitcase. There was also a real lack of closet space hangers. My real disappointment though was my upstairs space. The photos show a glass balustrade, I had 4 walls, so no view unless I was standing up! The room was pleasant enough but certainly not my definition of “deluxe”! Even a small gesture of a couple of bottles of water in the fridge would have been nice. 2 small bottles from reception was nearly 5 euro! This was after a very long travel and would have been very welcome. The grounds are lovely, and are constantly cleaned. Plenty of loungers if you wanted to stay at the pool. The walk into town is pleasant and felt very safe for a solo traveler, it’s certainly a good 10 mins. All flat though. There are really lovely restaurants just as you turn left into the town. Casa Marqués was our favourite and the staff were so friendly! Beautiful beach and very friendly staff everywhere we went. I’ll be heading back soon but nearer to the town as I will be a solo traveler next time. Hope this helps 🥰

These apartments are spacious for a studio, clean and very well run. But on the down side a very large BUT, if you are unfortunate to have one of the front apartments ROAD NOISE constantly @ both the apartment and the pool. You will find it far from relaxing sitting out front.

Lovely peaceful apartments, very clean and tidy. We stayed in 221, so had the rooftop whirlpool bath, sun chairs and fridge. We stayed up there most of the time. 10 minutes walk to beach front, very straightforward walk, with small supermarket nearby and a bigger one about 30 minute walk.

My Mum & I had a top floor deluxe apt for a week, with a roof terrace & hot tub, and a view of the mountains & mountain goats! The apartment was fine, a bit small, but manageable & had everything we needed - it does need better lighting throughout & a mirror in the main area nearer a socket - for the person sleeping on the sofa bed (me!). The furniture is pretty old & needs updating. Sofa bed relatively comfy but threadbare. The roof terrace & jacuzzi bath, which you fill yourself, always had piping hot water on tap, was just gorgeous & an absolute dream of a way to end the day watching the mountain goats playing. The pool areas (particularly the one to the right of the front of the reception area) are gorgeous with plenty of sunbeds. Staff are lovely & always helpful. I wish the bar was a bit more exciting, you can get a few things & a nice coffee. It’s about a 5-8 min walk to the nearest restaurants & Tamarells beach, 20+ min walk to the Pine Walk/harbour area. The beaches are gorgeous, the ocean clear & beautiful. Some great restaurants near the Tamarells end, La Maina & Casa di Mare (sp?) in particular. Food is great & the staff are a dream in both restaurants. Visited beautiful old Pollenca town by taxi (Mum is a little infirm) staff are happy to order a taxi for you, getting a hold of one for your return journey however is more problematic as the new Mallorcab phone app doesn’t really work, hopefully they’ll be able to fix that but it’s just a comment, not relevant to the Cabot Las Velas staff. I’d highly recommend this really lovely property, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks Las Velas!
